great mouthguard for boxing
I used this for boxing. Has really great protection and it has a better fit than the shock doctor gel max. Its anti-shock pads work quite well. when I took a good hit to the chin, felt it clearing out the shock. I do find the breathing holes to be useless, some of them even collapsed during the molding process. the low profile, and fitting design of the mouthguard does help you breathe and speak better. I highly recommend this mouthguard

Great mouth guard, but typical bulky fit.
I like this mouth guard. It was easy to mold (but I did burn the corner of my mouth by not exactly following the instructions. When it says cool it in water for a couple seconds, do it) and fits very well. I have to use my fingers to get it out, which is perfect. It's a little bulkier than I would prefer though, so I ended up buying a Sisu mouth guard to try. I had to cut the little "strip" off the bottom, which seems to be there to allow for the strap to be attached. I do Tae Kwon Do, so I don't need the tether, and that little part that sticks down was driving me insane. It was really easy to just cut off without affecting any of the rest of the mouth guard though. If you're looking for a traditional boil and bite mouth guard that is comfortable and feels solid, I do recommend this one. I just wanted something that feels like it's not even there, which is why I went with the Sisu after wearing this one in classes for a week.

good product, does the job and provide adequate protection.
good protection and custom molded fit. being rather short on the court at 6' 2", i use these while playing basketball, so i dont get my teeth knocked out anymore by 6' 9" monsters when i hustle to the paint for rebounds. please note these are rather thick, so it will be difficult to speak clearly when you have these on. i dont find these to interfere with my breathing, which is the most important thing, and hey, definitely cheaper than going to the dentists fixing up broken teeth.

Better than the original STC
The original STC had a rubber piece that hung down from the bottom of the mouth piece. I guess this was to position your lower jaw forward, but when you have an over-bite like mine, it's completely useless. I ended up eventually just biting the rubber piece off during normal use and probably swallowing the little blue bits of rubber. The STC 2 doesn't have that piece and has been working for me since I've bought it's almost 6 months ago now. Provides good protections against your teeth slamming together during an uppercut and decent protection from busting your front lip open on your top teeth. It's a little thought to talk in because the guard comes a ways away from your front teeth, but mostpeople can understand me most of the timeI'll be buying another one when this one wears out

Not even worth 5 bucks, don't waste your money.
unfortunately looking cool is the only thing this mouth guard can provide. There's not enough soft matter behind the mouthguard to be able to grip your teeth tightly to stay in place when you open your mouth. It does stay in place unless you move your lips around but let's be honest, we make the ugliest faces while trying to catch our breath. The front part with the hole is way too large, makes it hard for you to set the mouth guard up after you boil it and it even blocks your breathing unless you cut it off. The white part can not be shaped, unless you have very symmetrical and smooth molars, it will most likely will not fit at all. And lastly, there's way too much soft shape able matter on the front, once you set it up, the matter goes all the way up to your gums past your teeth. As a result if you plan to just put it in your bag and carry it to gym, think again. It will get into all kinds of weird shapes in your bag and will be totally unrecognizable once you reach the gym. Overall, worst mouth guard I ever bought. A shameful product from shock doctor.

does not mold right
i have tried to mold and remold this dang thing. i bought this because of the great reviews other people have put, but no matter how much i mold it, heat, bend it, it will not fit my grill. just not the right one for me. will be trying other ones out there. my trainer recommended a one piece type, but he stressed that they should be comfortable and usually these that have multiple compenents usually do not end up molding properly. unfortunately paid a lot for a great product that is just not right for my anatomy.

One of the if not THE most trusted brands in protecting my kids’ teeth
Easy to custom fit and my “go to” when needing protection for my kids’ teeth. Buy two or more because they will get misplaced or get dropped and lost between practices or games. I’d recommend getting a new one each season to keep a custom and comfortable fit as our kids grow. I’ve bought numerous of the same and different colors. The cheaper brands may last for a season, but usually need replacement due to getting chewed on.

a little expensive what what you get
Overall it wasn't the most comfortable mouth guard I've ever used, and DEFFINATELY not the cheapest.. but then again it did it's job and how much are your teeth worth to you? so i cant talk too bad about it.. but i will say that since owning this i have bought other mouth guards for a fraction of the price that work just as well and are much more comfortable.. so did this do what i expected? yes! would i buy it again? no!

very good
my sons love it. is not to thin but eather too thick he can close his mouth withouth big efforce. im returning to buy again this season because my son is on the teenager age and this year the mouthpiece is getting to small and little bit to used but is actually very good if you follow the instruction for the first time use you have to put in boiling water put in your mouth and then it will take the shape of your teeth. this is good from teen to adults but it can happens that once you get the shape of your teeth if your son grow and he may need a new one the following year. it may be good for 2 seasons. for adult it may be good for very long time as the size of his mouth will remaind the same.

Great product
I've been using the previous model (STC 1) for several years and was quite happy. This one, feels more comfortable.Doesn't make me feel sick like other mouth guards. A bit on expensive side (comparing to other non custom made), but definitely worth it. If you look after it right, it will serve you for years.

Great!
Fantastic mouthguard. Works great for mixed martial arts, can breath easy. Note: orange shock doctor logo in pic not on mouthguard, which is good.
