Game changer
Most excellent sprinkler system. It’s been installed for 8 months and no issues. Works amazing, less worries. I had enough psi for four heads. They spray about 12’. Perfect diy setup.

Great kit , easy install
Super easy install , easy to set up and adjust , perfect kit for smaller yards , was able to adjust the watering with nozzle change , sold separately of course

It will work if you have good water pressure
Perfect for DIY lovers, my only complaint is that it needs very high water pressure to run smoothly and cover wide areas. So do your homework and make your measurements before buying

Great, Get More Parts
Great solution! (Hose quick connect system) To start, I gave this four starts strictly because you will have to buy additional parts if you have any size of a yard. But, it’s a great start to get the kit and supplement as needed. I have a huge yard, almost 2 acres. The front and side I have been moving the hose around constantly to keep nice but didn’t want to invest the money and maintenance in a true irrigation system. Bought the hose connect system for a simple solution with the thought that I would put in a couple zones for easier watering. Turned out better than I could have expected, but do not overlook the labor of trenching. If you’re not in shape or it’s the dead ass heat of the summer (my mistake) I’d recommend hiring someone. My modifications: I’m feeding the system off a 3/4” outdoor spigot/hydrant with 60 psi. The hose is a heavy duty 3/4” hose, so I have more pressure than the average house. With 4 heads, system had way to much pressure and was not operating correctly. Luckily I bought two kits to start so I added a total of 8 heads (later cut down to 7) which corrected the pressure issue. NOT ENOUGH HOSE: I promise you this kit does not have enough hose. I used two kits worth plus another 50’ and still was right at what I needed. Do yourself a favor and buy addition hose out of the gate. Sprinkler heads: the heads it comes with are ok for smaller areas but do not shoot like I expected. Ended up getting additional commercial grade heads at Home Depot that made a big difference. Smaller areas that didn’t need 20’ of spray I kept the heads it came with and the larger areas I swapped to the better heads and got a lot better coverage. Venting: it comes with the auto drain vent caps. I added these at the end of every run both of the high points and low points. This helped distribute the pressure and the auto-drain down of the system. Very happy how that turned out Heads leak: I noticed if the heads are not level, they leak a little. Simple fix - level your heads. Just something to be aware of. Trenching: again, burring this hose sucks. I spent a good 6 hours over two days digging in 150’ of hose and heads. I constantly turned the system on to keep the ground soft and check for leaks as I dug, highly recommend doing this. Start at the control box and work your way to the ends. Water pressure: other reviews say it, know your psi. Don’t skimp on the hose, a nice quality 3/4” hose makes a big difference Overall, really happy how this turned out. Once I physically recover from the digging and it cools down, I will be adding another section to my side yard. If you don’t want the headache and cost of a traditional system, this is a great solution.

Best purchase I've ever made
This has been a GAME CHANGER for our yard. Also, so much less expensive than hiring a company to come in and put in a system. It took a good amount of time to install the whole thing, but it wasn't really that difficult! The instructions were clear, the sprinklers were easy to hook up and position their paths. Really the only tough part was burying the lines. We have roots in our yard from our tree, so those made it difficult. But if you have an open yard with no trees, you can have this up and running within a few hours.

Buyer Beware!
Easy to install. Good coverage. Terrible parts. Main part that accepts hose nozzle broke within 1 week of use. You can’t buy just the one part and I’m not gonna rip it all up and replace it again. Basically spending the money to do a little bit of work and then water the grass yourself anyways.

Easy install above ground temporarily
I like this system, and I only use it seasonally. I drain it and wind it up for the winter. It may look tacky to have it sitting above ground, but I only use it for a couple of months when it’s really hot and then take it down. I might bury it one day, or I might not. I am still working on grass quality and soil quality before I bury it. I drove in some rebar since the little plastic stakes can’t hold it tightly, and duct taped the heads to it. I have it on a remote timer.

Perfect DIY system
Perfect DIY irrigation system for water conservation. Took me half day to install alone and spray distance was perfect for front yard. With single hose it is very easy to cover all yard.

I was unsure of buying this as didn’t know if my water pressure would be any good. For the price I thought I’d give it a go. I like the fact that you can just plug a hose into the ground. I was installing a new lawn which meant I didn’t need to try and not damage any existing turf. Getting the exact levels right was still a lot of effort and I still had to do a fair bit of digging, even with 2 inches of top soil. I’m not sure you would fit this to an existing lawn easily. You have to dig substantial holes for each sprinkler and the plug in station. Now installed it works perfectly, covering my entire garden in the lowest setting. * advice. Put the distance setting on the lowest when you install. I did the opposite and found out that if you do the spray nozzle flies out and water just pours out and nothing works. It took me a while to find the little blue nozzles and work out what went wrong.

Update June 15 Installed a second kit in my back yard with 2 additional R-VAN-SST heads with 1800 series bodies and everything works great. RVAN’s shoot about 16’ which is enough for what I need. I needed 30 extra feet of 1/2” tubing for the additional heads. Bought the additional parts I needed from Regency Irrigation for $40. I've also played around with some different nozzles instead of the R-VAN-SST and it hasn't affected my pressure. Took 2 of us about 7 hours for layout, testing, trenching by hand and installation. Very happy with my setups. Used hose clamps on all connections for long term assurance of no disconnections and needed some teflon tape on the connection between the tubing and quick connect in ground 90 to stop a small leak. Also drilled a hole through the in ground manifold lid to leave the hose connected and the manifold relatively closed up. I installed this system in my front yard May 24. Installation was straightforward, hardest part was trenching by hand. Spaced the sprinklers about 18'-20' apart and I have good overlap and full coverage of my yard. Even had to shorten the throw distance on the 4 heads. Only leak I had was where the 1/2" tube connects to in the inground quick connect adapter. I had bought hose clamps for all the connections anyways to prevent potential future in ground disconnections so once I tightened it up and used a bit of teflon tape it was fine. 90' of hose was just enough, I had 3 feet leftover. Layout, testing, hand trenching and install took 2 of us 6 hours. We used a lawn edger to cut through the sod in a V, a small garden spade, square edge spade shovel and the hook end of a crow bar to trench. Dug down approx. 6 inches. **If you try to open up the range on the sprinkler heads too far with the screw on top, the blue nozzle will shoot out so be aware. Easy to put back in if you can find it but they are small.** I've connected the system to an Insoma Wifi water timer also from Amazon https://a.co/d/eH3WpWt and scheduled it to run 3 mornings per week. My GPM measured right around 6 and my system has adequate pressure for all 4 heads to work great. The nozzles included in the heads are .75 GPM so based on that I require a 3 GPM flow. The system isn't complicated so if you follow the instructions it should work great. I will be installing another kit in my backyard and will try to add 2 more R-VAN-SST heads with 1800 series bodies for some narrow sections of grass. If that is too many I will split into 2 zones and run off a dual zone Insoma timer. Renting a gas trencher would make this job really easy but also double the cost of the project.
