Dial Gold Antibacterial Deodorant Bar Soap, 4 Ounce, 2 Count

I’ve been using Dial Gold for years and it’s still one of my favorite bar soaps. It has that classic clean scent and lathers really well. It leaves my skin feeling clean and refreshed without needing a lot of soap. I also like that the bars last a good amount of time, so this is a great value when buying a larger pack. It’s simple, dependable, and does exactly what I want a bar soap to do. I’ll definitely continue buying it!

The scent is strong and clean in that traditional Dial way—noticeable but not overwhelming—and it leaves skin feeling fresh. It rinses off easily without leaving a heavy residue. As an antibacterial soap, it gives extra reassurance for cleanliness, especially for high-touch areas or after a long day. It can feel a bit drying with frequent use, so pairing it with a moisturizer may be helpful for sensitive or dry skin. Overall, this is a simple, reliable bar soap that has stood the test of time. It’s effective, affordable, and consistently delivers a clean feeling with every use.

This soap produces a good lather and leaves my skin feeling thoroughly clean. The familiar scent is fresh without lingering too heavily afterward. Each bar lasts a reasonable amount of time as long as it is allowed to dry between uses.

Good soap

This product didn’t come in the dial box that is pictured and the bar soap itself is dark yellow instead of light yellow which is different from the dial I’m used to buying in stores. This product seems to work similarly as the light yellow one so I’m guessing this is an older version of the product. I can tell this product works because every morning when I shower I use this in addition to exfoliating gloves and when I rinse you can see some dead skin cells coming off. In the shower, I typically wash once with this and then rinse and scrub my body again with this product and it makes me feel squeaky clean. I typically scrub 2-3x with exfoliating gloves while rinsing after every scrub. No other soap (besides hibiclens) makes me feel as clean as this bar soap. Not even dial liquid soaps make me feel as clean. This soap really strips the oily part of your skin and dead cells. It can be a little drying so moisturizing afterwards is a must, unless you intentionally want to be dry. The scent is a light floral smell that doesn’t stay in your skin long. Can’t wait to try other dial bar soaps to see if they compare to this. I noticed more people are now using this bar soap, I hope it doesn’t sell out or get ridiculously pricy.
