TOWOT 63-37 High Purity Tin Lead Rosin Core Solder Wire for Electrical Soldering, Content 1.8% Solder flux (1.0mm, 100g)

Great for general purpose electronics work. It's solder. It's tin. It's lead. It's got the rosin core for better wetting leads to better solder joints and fewer chances for cold solder joints. It's a good diameter too for most work, but they do sell smaller diameter stuff for more precision work. Consider the size of the parts you want to solder and get a solder diameter than matches appropriately. This is a good general purpose size for most stuff, but might be too big for smaller SMT parts. For wires and stuff it's great though.

Submitted a return because roll was labeled "0.8 mm" and my order stated 0.6 mm. Got to looking at it and it seemed too slim for 0.8 mm. Micrometer said .6 mm! Used it today on radio kit and it is perfect! Solidifies shiny, flows well like the best solder should.

It has been a long time since I hand-built full electronics kits (including a color TV in the 1970's). I still dabble, mostly with repairs now. Ran low on my supply of this thin electronic solder with the rosin core so I opted for this product / size. Like this purity grade because I'm not sure what I might find in a hardware store will state its specifications. More than a lifetime supply for me so I hope my Granddaughters learn how to us a soldering iron.

It melts. It flows well. It seems to be doing what it should.

Haven’t had any issues soldering with this solder, burns at low temp and easily, work with it all the time. Couldn’t be happier.
