Really strong for their size

a bit anemic
i put 12v to this and it could pick up a 1/4x 3/4 bolt but any shaking and it would probably fall off. However this would be excellent for hobby projects. I used a power supply so the volts were exact 12v . If you want to pickup heavier items i would definitely get a larger size .This would be excellent for model railroads and is good quality.

only complaint I have is that the wires that connect to the solenoid are not in great, easy to pull out.
