Have bought this same item from another seller. But they were garbage and the part where they slid onto the stove stem quickly cracked. But these are superior in every way. Fit perfectly and when the description said stainless steel I thought maybe it was just referring to the color. But I think they might actually be made from stainless steel because they are easily twice the weight of the originals and the crap replacements I had bought. Plus there is a metal ring that reinforces that piece I referred to cracking on cheaper versions.

The original knob that shipped with the range is on the left. It is made of plastic and the thin silver coating came off after soaking it in water.These replacement knobs — shown on the right — are made from metal. They are well made and no issues so far.

The knobs which came on my stove were made of plastic (what isn't these days, right?) The answer is Aremae gas stove replacement knobs.The shanks on three out of the five original knobs cracked when I tried to remove them to clean beneath them. No amount of epoxy glue could resolve the issue. Moreover, it proved far more difficult to find replacements at a reasonable price than I thought it should. With three out of five knobs damaged it looked more like playing checkers than cooking.Finally I found the Aremae knobs on Amazon.These Aremae knobs are made of metal and they have the heft and feel of a solid, reliable knob. They're bright finish contrast nicely against the brushed stainless steel finish of my stoves control panel. That contrast also makes them very easy to find in the occasional power outages that we have. I cannot recommend these knobs enough. The price was excellent and they fit my need exactly.

Loved them at first but just a couple of months later one of the knobs failed due to the plastic that holds a metal retaining ring on the back melted, rendering one knob kind of worthless. It has not fallen off but it has become loose and soon will not hold at all. The previous knobs were GE Profile knobs and the chrome coating started to separate because the knob itself was plastic. These knobs are metals but the weak link is their plastic backs. They cannot hold up to the heat and unfortunately will melt. Poor engineering. Two months of use versus over ten years with the original. Hope you have better luck, because I originally gave them high marks. My mistake! And now a second knob has a melted plastic back. Fortunately, I saved the original GE knobs and was able to replace the metal knobs with the backs from the GE knobs. Back in business and the GE knobs lasted 10 years without the plastic melting. Folks, save your old knobs!

I thought these would be cheap plastic with a stainless plastic wrap on them like the original ones, they are not. They are heavy and all metal. Im shocked at how nice these are for the money! Wish i would of got them sooner

I had to replace the original knobs on my gas range because the knob markings were like a decal (that’s the only way I could think to describe it) and started peeling off, WHICH WAS DRIVING ME NUTS! These knobs fit exactly like the original ones, look the same-really better, than the original knobs on my GE gas/convection range. They are stainless steel, feel sturdy, AND I doubt the control setting numbers will peel off. (If they start to peel or scratch I will update my review.) However, if your oven is on for a while, these knobs get WARM, and might become TOO HOT to touch, if the oven was on for several hours (cooking a turkey or maybe prime rib.) I read other reviews and at least one reviewer mentioned this so I was prepared for the knobs to become warm. But, after my oven was on 375 for about 75 minutes the knobs were REALLY WARM. However, they were a good price and appear to be made well so I’m going to keep them, since our kids are grown and I don’t cook as much as I used to. If you have small kids or are sensitive to heat, I would probably just pay the ridiculous price GE charges for replacement knobs, unless you hardly use your oven! (Also, the reason the knobs get warm is because the oven door vents just below the knobs behind the door handle.) I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I assume several people have had the same experience and I think the seller should add that information in the item description.

Perfect fit and heavy stainless. Much nicer than my factory plastic knobs.
