Heartbreaking Dawns 1498 Trinidad Scorpion Sauce, 5 fl. oz

Good flavor... The heat is good but not unbearable which is what I was looking for. I don't mind playing around with the dangerous heat once in a blue moon, like the one drop you're toast kind, but that is not this. I was not expecting flavor as I was let down by a few hot sauces in the past, but this has good flavor as well... I'm probably going to buy some for my friends as well. So... I would recommend it to anyone who doesn't mind a bit of fun heat!

This one pairs well with all kinds of food. On its own, it starts out sweet and then you get the heat... then you keep getting the heat. For some reason it mainly hits the sides of the tongue. 5 minutes later, you are back to normal. However, when adding it to foods - the burn is much more subtle and helps to accent the dish.

Fantastic sweet hot sauce with enough heat to truly consider it a hot sauce, but not scorching hot so if looking for extreme heat - look elsewhere. It's truly one of the best tasting hot sauces I've ever had. There isn't an overwhelming fruity taste and it's honestly what I always envisioned Tabasco to actually taste like without all that salt/vinegar combination and sweeter. A must buy. Only con is THEY NEED BIGGER BOTTLES!!!! More cowbell!

I love this hot sauce. It takes to me to my comfortable limit before the nose and eyes continuously run. So great flavor, enjoyable yet noticeable heat, and little to no flow from my eyes and nose. I bought this a few years ago and I am glad to go on this flavorful ride again. The only issue I had with my order was the shipping. It went from 2 day shipping, got delayed, and arrived a week after purchase. I wasn’t upset, it’s hot sauce. I would note that shipping might take longer. If purchased again from this seller I will except that. Overall definitely worth picking up if you want something hotter than the normal grocery store hot sauces with wonderful flavors.

This has been a long time favorite of mine. Don’t be intimidated by the Trinidad Scorpion name; this sauce is hot but action packed with flavor.

Not hot enough, Tabasco has a scorpion sauce that only takes a few drops. And other Scorpion pepper sauces that I have tried burn. Which when you cross past the habanero sauce, hot is what you’re after.

I purchased both this and the Cauterizer after seeing it reviewed on America'sTest Kitchen. While they are both good tasting hot sauces, I think this one has a slightly better flavor than the Cauterizer, probably due to the addition of the habenero peppers in this sauce vs. the straight Scorpion peppers in the Cauterizer. Don't worry, it's still a screaming-hot, hot sauce; just slightly less so. The best tasting hot sauce I've had so far.
