Fill the little container with a very runny paint and you are ready to write. I recommend pouring paints as they are the perfect consistancy. Get some card stock and practice. It was very easy to figure this gadget out and I'm loving the way it works with paint. If you unscrew the back end, there is a long skinny thing to clean out the tip when you are done. If you use acrylic pouring paints you can clean this with soapy water. Make sure and clean it while the paint is still wet or it will clog the tip up. The price wasn't bad for two of these and I love that they thought of the long thing to clean the unit screwing right onto it so you don't lose it. 5 stars for doing it's job well and for a reasonable price.

These do work. However paint comes out in a small gap where the handle is soldered to the cup. It is more annoying than anything.Overall I like how much easier these are as opposed to paint brushes when filling in resin projects.

These have no hole in the cup.. and an upcoming class I needed them for a class and being that it took so long to receive them,,I had no time to exchange, so I took a small metal drill bit and drilled the steel a long until i got through to the tube.

I used this to repair rock chips on my motorcycle. They work well to keep the paint inside the damage area. Cheap enough to lose when your done. They do drip at the tip of you aren’t working fast enough. So be prepared.

Very large and unable to melt wax with candle. Should not be marketed as Pysanky/ egg tool. It may work if you are using paint, but if you are doing the wax resist it will not work.
