Sturdy Wok with Removable Handle
I bought this carbon steel wok, following the instructions of Grace Young.I ordered the wok along with Grace Young's book: Stir-Frying to the Sky's Edge: The Ultimate Guide to Mastery. The book is filled with great detail about cooking including 2 methods to initially season a wok. I used the oven method. After scrubbing off the anti-rust coating from the factory you bake on oil three times in a 425F oven. Being removable the wood handle was left off and not exposed to the high temperatures.The wok came out looking beautiful. Grace Young points out that the dark bottom absorbs heat much faster than bright shiny stainless steel; this is a plus for getting up to temperature quickly and staying there.I like this wok.

Heats Evenly and FAST. Heavy metal makes wok tossing more challenging than I thought.
I learned right away that when doing stir-fry, to have all your prep taken care of in advance. It only takes about 5 minutes for this wok to get nice and hot. I did have these dreams of doing some amazing wok tosses to create my perfect fried rice, but quickly realized the wok is made of super heavy metal. It makes it harder to toss the food in it, but with practice I will get better. I do recommend this wok for those with induction stoves like mine.

Excellent quality 😃
Since we have electric stove and do not use gas, we needed a wok that has flatter bottom. The wok is nice and sturdy and it's not thin material. The cover also is nice and durable with the thick glass and comes with the wooden handle the attached to using phillips screwdriver.The handle attaches easuly and is real wood and while it weighs a bit like any other wok for cooking, it's a great quality and have been enjoy making stir fries 🤤

Great product!
I really like the design and look of the Wok! It came with instructions on how to season it, and it worked beautifully. After seasoning it, I used it to make chicken fried rice. It was so much easier to make in this wok, and it tasted better too! The pan was a breeze to clean up, because they had me season it the proper way. Great product, great price, definitely recommend.

Nice smaller wok
Very happy with the wok. Have 14" wok that was just too big for stove. This worked out perfectly. It was packaged way better than expected which was a nice surprise. Would recommend!
