Strong but very good
These were delicious, if you like a salty licorice. Like the salty herring, but a bit stronger and not as sweet. I’ll definitely get again. Not for the newbies, might be too powerful for them.

Definitely not for everyone
So, I’ve been on a black licorice kick lately. My wife brought me back some salted licorice from Seattle, and I’ve since been on an Amazon mission to find the best. I would say this is it, but the price for the quantity is a bit high, so I’ll have to savor these. Also, I knew what I was getting into, but if you’re just looking for fancy black licorice, this ain’t it. From what almost everyone I’ve offered one to, this is the most vile thing on the earth. I, however, love it. It’s hard to describe, but kind of like if you soaked traditional licorice in a mixture of bleach and table salt. I know that’s probably not a selling point to most, but I’m here for it. I won’t purchase these regularly because of the price, but I’ll probably splurge two or three times a year. Cheers!

Not liqorice; instead, anise.
I like liqorice extract and ive tried lakrisal and i liked it so i wanted to try some "extra salty" salmiak, but this does NOT taste like liqorice, it tastes like anise, like a black jelly bean. Its very salty, so my body rejects them after about 10 per day. They are enjoyable to eat with lakrisal until it all gets too salty for me. I dont smell ammonia, but after eating on exhaling, my nostrils are filled with a distinct ammonia burning. I give it an extra star because if you are looking for an anise flavored salty snack, then this is it.

Only received 1 bag
The product is actually really good and fresh… Finally licorice that is salty enough for a Norwegian girl… The problem is I purchased two bags, I only got one… Contacted the seller to let them know and never heard back… Of course I cannot return because it is a food item.

One Of My Go-To Black Licorice
Came across this in Iceland. I like salty and soft black licorice and this is one of the best. I wish a local store carried it.

Delicious Scandinavian salty licorice
I constantly crave good, salty Scandinavian licorice and thankfully Amazon has these! Exactly like you’d get in the stores in Norway or Sweden.
