Pilestone TP-008 the Original Color Blind Glass Casual Style for Blue Color Enhance Indoor Outdoor Use

This helped me beyond anything I could have imagined. I’m 36 years old and this is the first time I’m seeing the world in full color. I fully recommend this to anyone with tritinopia. Especially since it’s the rarest form of colorblindness. These work!

After testing for type of colorblindness and researching options for blue/yellow lenses, we purchased TP-008 Pilestone lenses as a gift for someone special. This person was able to see and compare blue jeans, blue cars, and blue sky for the first time. He stated that our faces looked pale. That could be because WITHOUT the glasses I believe faces looked brighter pink rather than skin color to him because of the tritanomaly. So most likely he was actually seeing skin color more correctly . He was also able to see that there is different shades of greens in the landscape. .He could not quite comprehend that there was such a variation. He had to re-learn colors, that was somewhat frustrating to him, but was amazed to actually see the color sky for the first time. He described the blond highlights in my hair as gray hair. We are not sure if he was actually seeing yellow and named it gray, or maybe the glasses did not correct/enhance yellow. We may be trying the Yellow lenses soon to see what effect they may have. Overall, he said everything looked colorful/bright. His degree of colorblindness is individual to my knowledge so people with same type may or may not have the same effect. It is worth trying these glasses in my opinion for blue/yellow colorblind. Also, personally, I would recommend being tested by an eye doctor, especially because this type is rare compared to red/green colorblind. Thank you. This was an excellent experience for all of us. HE LOVES THE GLASSES. After 27 years, he is enjoying seeing colors. And yes, he did have emotional moments.

I took three different CB tests. Without glasses I was STRONG PROTAN on all three. With the glasses I was STRONG DEUTAN on all three. What good is that ? Very disappointing . Going from RED-GREEN to BLUE YELLOW is not an improvement .

I had not one but two friends with this rare color blindness. I got them both glasses in the same week so they could see my favorite color. They even saw colors they had never seen before it unlocked a whole spectrum for them. I was the first person in their lives to take the time and the effort to get them glasses. I did what I thought any decent person would do. If you have someone in your life with blue color blindness don’t hesitate. This will undoubtedly work and bring them overwhelming joy.

Well I have Tritanomaly (starting to develop into tritanopia) which was acquired from a car accident. It’s nice to see green and blue better since we have green lasers for inspection at work but they won’t let me wear them because they are “tinted” so I haven’t really had the need to wear them much but they are alright. Just wish the lenses weren’t plastic and help out more with yellow side of tritanopia too. And obviously it seems a bit overboard for Tritanomaly but like I said its progressively getting worse so my review may change depending on how bad I get and to see how effective these are for when that happens

I ordered these for my father. He’s in his early 50’s and be colored blind his whole life, so I thought I’d give these a shot! First off let me start by saying they arrrived three days EARLY !!!! Now if you guys know those circle charts that are colored pokadots that have the numbers in them my father has never even been able to see a single thing in them! So he put them on and the longer he had them on the More his eyes adjusted, he picked up on some colors right away we had pumpkins out front and he kept just staring at them saying they were bright they looked different.! I pulled up those colored number charts on my phone and for the first time in his life he was able to make out the numbers !!!! Now he couldn’t get all of them right but he got a lot of them right ! Honestly it was 100% worth the buy and I ordered a second pair for my boss that I’ll give to him later this week and will right another review on!!! But for my father it WORKED 95% and I feel the more he wears them and the longer he will be able to detect more !!!

These glasses do help distinguish blues and greens much better but also compromises the hues of every other color making them impossible to distinguish. The note the game with the glasses was not personalized because it stated the glasses were to help red-green color blindness and will not help blue blindness even though it is advertised as such. The glasses help only if you’re looking at those colors and compromise every other color. Buy with caution.

May be it works for someone else, but not for me, online test shows I am blue and yellow blindness (maybe just week), but the glass won't help me.

These glasses are to help compensate for colour blindness. They work and my mother can see colours for the first time in 59 years. The only complaint she has is that they are a tad too dark to wear inside and therefore work best outdoors. Overall though they are a good product and the seller was quite helpful.
