great fun to watch!
One of the few Christmas films that one could truly watch anytime of year. Well written, and the acting was spot on. Not overdone or heavy handed acting, just natural and heart warming. I lived the scenes where we see split screen of the 2 clueless lovebirds in their own beds at same time. Hysterical to see them both doing the same thing, yet having no clue this is the case. A sweet love story I look forward to watching many times no matter what time of year. I loved the young actress who played the main female lead. The one who pines for the boyfriend of her boss. I look forward to seeing her in many other projects. Brendan Fehr I have adored since Roswell. I find I enjoy most projects he participates in. I must say I enjoyed seeing him in this old fashioned live story. Ironically felt like a Victorian live story but in modern times as both seemed clueless to their true feelings. Yet the audience could see them pulled closer together even if everything possible was thrown in their paths as romantic hurdles. We find ourselves really cheering them on. At the same time, really hoping the main characters vapid and annoying boss (played by the delightful Elizabeth Rohm ) gets her true come uppance. Fun movie filled with love, laughter, friendship and much more. I highly recommend watching this. It is now part of my favorite Christmas movie collection. Even better is its also part of my favorite subsection of Christmas films that are so good I can watch any time of year (like "season of miracles" by Hallmark with Carla Cugino and actor from 'ghost whisperer' who played Jennifer love Hewitt's husband).

A guy's take on A Christmas Kiss.
I'm a guy, and basically this is a movie made for women, a so-called "chick flick", and so much so that occasionally a Katy Perry-type song spontaneously burst out of nowhere. But I love sweet romances regardless of what my tastes are supposed to be and this is not only sweet but well done. Made for TV in 2011, it's acted by good television actors who know how to work with the medium (like pacing that requires frequent pauses for commercials). As these types of movies go, this is the plot of the Mismatched Couples. In this case only three people are involved, two of them already a couple and a third who is currently free and a perfect match for one of the members of the mismatched couple if it wasn't already too late. Wendy Walton (Laura Breckenridge) is a young designer and interior decorator who has apprenticed herself to prestigious Boston designer Priscilla Hall (Elizabeth Rohm), who can introduce her to many clients or sink her career. Adam Hughes (Brendan Fehr) is her wealthy philanthropist boyfriend who she is absolutely determined will propose to her before Christmas. We know how this will all end, which is why I'm not adding any spoiler alerts; the question is how will it get there. With A Christmas Kiss it gets there with lots of fun, misunderstandings and laughs along the way to its sweet ending. It's really cute how they manage to have Wendy and adam have that first kiss on the elevator and yet have him not recognize her not long after. Priscilla is not only a demanding boss but also an underhanded one an one insecure enough to lie and cajole to get her way. The film is a comedy at heart, but also full of Christmas warmth. It's well made too, with a good budget to back up its plot and characters. If you like romances, this is a good one for the holidays.Guys: Give it a chance.

The story is different and really enjoyed the characters especially the witch from hell. I really enjoyed her performance seriously. She played the best of the best mean roles I’ve seen. S

A Christmas Kiss - Will definately watch again
I like good clean movies (or as clean as you can get nowadays). Christmas Kiss was fairly clean, except for swearing (not extreme, but noticeable), and some low cut/short shirts/dresses. I really enjoyed the movie and will definitely watch it again. Most people would skip it because they think it is too predictable or "lame", but I like movies like that because I know I will be watching something that won't make me feel like I have just been "slimed".Wendy is an aspiring designer, and an assistant to the most successful designer in Boston, Priscilla (who you hate throughout the entire show). One night, Wendy gets into an elevator with a mysterious man, who kisses her when she gets thrown into his arm when they think the elevator is about to plummet (because of course that is what you think of when you think your going to die;) Unfortunately, Wendy discovers the next day that the mysterious man is Priscilla's boyfriend, Adam, (and he doesn't recognize Wendy!!!). Adam asks Pricilla to decorate his apartment for a Christmas party. Wendy is inspired by Adam's love for a book his Grandmother bought him before she died, and creates a design that reflects that theme. Pricilla says they are absolutely horrible and it won't impress anyone; however, when Adam turns down Pricilla's own design, she claims Wendy's as her own and Adam loves them. Pricilla leaves town after an accident where she was hit in the face. Adam and Wendy's friendship grows since they are now thrown together to finish getting the house ready in time. He starts to fall in love with her and rethinks proposing to Pricilla, but when Pricilla comes home and she is then forced to take drastic measures to make sure her engagement goes forward as planned. She lies and schemes to get Adam to propose, fires Wendy and threatens her to not tell Adam, but thanks to Wendy's two friends, they do some scheming of their own to get Adam and Wendy back together.Overall, I loved the movie and will definitely watch it again.
