Buy this instead of the whole unit with hose
This was a direct replacement for my 2006 Colorado 3.5L. Completely solved the CEL. It's highway robbery what auto part stores want for this part, all because it comes with the hose that attaches to the canister. Don't waste your money and get this instead! The tube/hose that is attached to the original is really tough to get off. I end up cutting it right at the end of the barb. That should give enough hose left to attach to the new part. The new one isn't barbed, it's just smooth. In my case, the hose diameter was small enough that it went on very very snug. It's not coming off, but you could put a small hose clamp on it if you want more piece of mind. Also, be careful getting the clip out of the opposite end of the hose where it attaches to the canister. The white clip is brittle. Mine broke, but I was able to place it back in, albeit in 2 separate pieces. Overall, very satisfied with this product!!! Saved tons of money.
