NLT Large Print Premium Value Thinline Bible, Filament Enabled (LeatherLike, Eucalyptus Teal)

After months of looking and just reading the bible online, finally ordered this one and love it. A thousand times better than reading online for me. It is really pretty and I can highlight without it having bleed through. The pages are thin and you can see the highlighter a bit on the other side but it's not strongly visible.I knew I wanted NLT and larger print. It is plenty big enough for me. I have readers for super tiny things but don't need them with this. I sort of wanted to be able to take notes but in exchange for that, you also have a larger and heavy bible or smaller print. Just highlighting is working fine for me. I like that it is pretty but it still feels serious. I was drawn to the pretty brown leather bibles because they feel "serious"-- lol. But God is serious to me so wanted it to be reflected in what I would be holding every day.

I’ve been trying to read my Bible daily, but I kept finding myself going through the motions without really understanding what I was reading. I constantly had to google what the scripture meant as I felt I was deciphering riddles (I did not grow up in church, so all of the Bible stories “most” people in my life already know are new to me!) I decided to look up which translation is easiest for a beginner to understand, and that’s when I found this bible. The NLT is extremely easy to understand without straying too far from other translations. The lines of text are pretty close together and appear “slim” but I don’t mind that. The pages are very thin so my previous method of using Bible post its won’t work. There is not space for adding notes on the pages, so I will be getting a little notebook to use with it. The Bible itself is beautiful and the cover is soft to the touch. The size is perfect and easy to carry!

LOVE LOVE! Makes bible study so much easier to understand. Love the softness and color too!!! I added a few bible tabs and now I’m set!

I bought this with an ESV Bible , to compare the two for when I don’t understand something. They are honestly so similar. Very easy to read and understand. The leather of the book is very durable , it’s gone through many days of transit in my purse. I would 100% get one of these again.

This is such a beautiful bible it is so soft to the touch, and beautifully crafted. It's a bit bigger than your hand but would fit nicely in a small backpack. The only thing that was a bit disappointing was it didn't have no red lettering and no space for notes☹️ but nothing major.
