Very good customer service
I bought thus for my grandson for Christmas. He was very excited when he start making it. Unfortunately there were a few pieces missing. I contacted the seller and they applied straight away. The matter was very quickly resolved and the parts were posted out to me. Customer service was excellent. My grandson will be coming at the weekend and cannot wait to finish putting it together. It will look great when finished

Good quality, surprisingly capable walking dragon
The media could not be loaded. As Lego-compatible-but-not-Lego-brand products go, this is one of the best I’ve encountered, and we’ve tried a fair few.The bricks are convincingly Lego-ish, obviously they lack the branding but the weighting of them and the fluidity with which they click together all feels very familiar and very sturdy. The colours seem similar, and the stickers and wing parts feel like they are of an equivalent quality. Even the instruction manual, with its nice clear print and layout, really does feel like it could be a Lego product rather than a cheap imitation of one.The dragon is rather an impressive build as well. There’s a railway-engine-style piston approach on each side that causes the hind legs, front legs and wings to move around in a slightly comical but surprisingly effective walking motion. It struggles a little bit on thick carpet but it can walk around on a table or a hard floor surprisingly easily- admittedly with more up-down motion than forwards-backwards motion, but it does get there in the end. The remote control is surprisingly easy to control (the video attached shows my six-year-old steering it) and as a piece of engineering, it’s surprisingly satisfying. It is also very swooshable, you can grab it by the torso and swish it around with confidence, and it’s also quite poseable too, in the neck and head- though the neck isn’t very strong so it tends to drop its head when the motor makes it walk.I have to admit to not having tried to install the app yet, because the 2AAA-powered standalone remote control device does the job perfectly well. If in the future we decide to take the dragon apart, the core engine piece will undoubtedly have some use as a way of powering other vehicles of some kind, but my kids seem very pleased with the dragon at the moment so I think it’ll be some time before it gets cannibalised. I’m hoping to come back and edit this review once I’ve tested out the app, which sounds like it will be for older kids.Assembly is reasonably straightforward. Nine bags are provided, and while the instructions don’t tell you when to open the next bag, it’s fairly obvious- when the current bag is running low and you need to find a piece that isn’t in there, it’s time to open the next bag. There are a few little ‘gotchas’ to look out for- there are two different sizes of claw piece which look very similar on the instructions, and ideally there would be a tiny bit more contrast in the instruction manual between the black pieces and the deep blue pieces. But we didn’t end up getting tripped up by anything or needing to go backwards, and it was a fun few hours sticking it together. If I could change one tiny detail about this dragon it would be that the core motor part uses an unusual USB connector for charging. It would have been lovely if it took a standard microUSB or USB-C cable, for convenience. As it is, we need to make sure that the special charging cable doesn’t get lost among a tangle of other cables and Lego.Lego-compatible sets can be a hit-or-miss affair but this is definitely one of the better ones.

Complete rubbish
We bought our grandson a lot of lego for Christmas as he loves it, this is by far the worst purchase. The instructions are poor and parts missing, when you do get it together and use it bits fall off, as indicated by other reviewers. All in all a disappointing present, I will stay away from purchases from this maker in the future.

Very hard even for this supposedly intelligent adult - but so much fun!
I have some issues with both mental and manual dexterity and have been utilising things aimed at kids but with multiple levels to them such as puzzles or kits like this one.Firstly let me reiterate that this is a long and complex build, it was very hard for me and I stopped being a kid a long time ago but that same level of difficulty also brings with it immense satisfaction when you finish and get to play with/admire the finished article. There really is a lot to admire here, the provided booklet makes the build easy enough to follow if not entirely easy to do, the legoish parts have a recognizable feel to them immediately and there is no small joy in hearing them click together over and over again. The finished dragon looks amazing and although we only tried the remote briefly as he is more for display than play (age again) he moved well and looked good so no reason to assume that would be different on the app where you can program in more complex moves I'm told. All in all this was a fun and time consuming way to rehabilitate for me and for under £40 I think it was a very good price and would provide somebody many hours of fun playtime as a gift.

Missing pieces
Could you please send me the missing parts in the picture. This could be a manufacturer fault. Many thanks
