Screw and bolt length and thickness were perfect to mount license plate using a thin silicone plate frame with a thin edge lip. The rear bolts were long enough to mount to the plate directly, but would not work if the license plate frame were thicker, or needed to have the bolts pass thru it on the outside. Front screws were plenty long for all plate frames. My 2024 Q8 has securely mounted license plates now. What the dealer provided on the new car was schlock (too small in front/not stainless steel at rear).

The Extended Length screw finally solved the problem with mounting my Audi Q3 license plate holder. The normal screws would work on the top two screws but were too short for the bottom two holes. I used all four of the extended length screws and was able to use screw cap covers finally.

Yes, you need these if you have an Audi. They are of great quality and fit perfectly. I just wish Audi was a little less persnickety.

The short version for no license plate frame are still too long. I had to shorten about 2 mm. Quality seems good though. Audi Q8.

I've also had a little trouble getting the right size license plate screws. In fact I've had to replace the plastic insert for my station wagon tailgate because I pressed in a longer screw like a dummy. These fit perfectly but front and rear!

For an Audi Q7 2011, the back plate screws were fine at 10mm in length with a silicone plate holder. The front screws provided were far too large and possibly too long. Disappointed half of the product doesn't work.

They worked perfectly for my 2015 audi a3 front and rear plates. Look great. No idea on longevity, but if they begin to rust or look bad quickly I will update this review.

I could not find good front screws at hardware stores and these front ones fit perfectly BMW 3 Series. The back ones did not fit but I easily got them at a hardware store (for reference BMW 3 Series back bolts are M5 and the ones in this set are bigger).
