The best display for any computer with a USB type C
This monitor is the best monitor out there for any computer with a usb type c port. While the computer outputs audio and video it is also being charged through one small and easy to use cable. The HP envy 34inch curved monitor display is a beautiful display that is easy to set-up and use normally. I have it connected to a late 2016 MacBook Pro 13 inch and it outputs video and audio while still being charged in the process. The IO on the back consists of one display port, HDMI, 2 usb 3.0's, usb type C, and power plug. The cable I am using to connect the two is the usb-c to usb-c, and while it does the job, it can come out of the MBP port a little too easily and can compromise the display, without not damaging the product. The speakers are amazing for what you get, made by Bang and Olufsen, you definitely will be heard rocking out to your tunes. The speakers are great with good highs, mids, but lacks a little in the bass part of things. The screen is the most amazing part of the whole monitor with a wide curve, 1440p display, it makes it look big and beautiful. While maintaining pretty-ness, it can function amazingly for any video game, media consumption or work. I fully recommend this display to anyone who needs a solid display with great speakers and who has 34 inches of room to spare. A couple things to note: It does not output 85 watts, therefore using a 15 inch MacBook Pro would require a separate charger to be used without being underpowered. Im probably the only person to do this, but visa-mounting this monitor is somewhat easy, just remove the stand, put on the included visa mount, take out that littler rubber screw cover on the back of the monitor and install it. Overall a very nice monitor with very few drawbacks.

Beautiful Display with some Caveats for 15" MacBook Pro Users
Bought this for a 15" MacBook Pro with Touch Bar. Works well with the Mac closed in docking station mode being powered from the USB-C from the monitor itself. However, the 15" MacBook Pro draws too much power to have the MacBook itself open and running while only being powered from the monitor using the single USB-C cable. If you want to have the MacBook open and use the additional screen, then you also need to hook up the power adapter for the Mac. That's somewhat disappointing because it's only a few more watts of power. No such problems with the 13" MacBook Pro. It's a beautiful display that basically has the resolution of two full HD displays along with great sound and a built-in camera for FaceTime, etc.

Great if you are not going to use with HP Spectre X360 Laptop!
I'm pretty pleased with this monitor. So much so that I bought two of them, one for work and one for my home office. I do a lot of work on the computer, drafting documents, reading documents, etc, and it is great to be able to open multiple windows side-by-side. I liked the idea of having one wide monitor rather than two (or three) side-by-side monitors, even if the cost is a bit higher. The cheapest of these 34" ultrawide seem to be around $700. For the extra $100, I got this monitor which includes Bang & Olufsen audio speakers which I feel is above average performance, and also a pop up web-cam! I love the pop up webcam because when it is down, it is impossible for it to be filming. I know people who put tape or something over their laptop webcam out of fear of hackers hijacking the webcam, or something like that. I am very skeptical of that, yet I still find this design comforting that the webcam, if not in use, is recessed into the monitor which is a much neater solution than putting tape over it. And it's just a neater solution in general compared to a separate web-cam. Note, you do not need to pop it up in order to use the microphone. I have played an online FPS (Overwatch) and used the microphone to talk to my team online without actually popping up the webcam. The monitor looks very stylish, and the picture quality is great, though not 4k. My major problem with it is that I could not get it to work with a 2016 HP Spectre X360 laptop computer. I mean, this is a pretty cutting edge laptop, and this is a pretty cutting edge monitor, both made by HP, and they cannot work together "plug & play"?!! After hours of frustration, including an hour talking to customer service, and hours surfing the internet for any tips, I had to give up. My 10 year old laptop works "plug & play" with this monitor, as does my work desktop and my home desktop. And the HP laptop will work "plug & play" with other monitors and with my smart TV. It is inexcusable that these two devices do not work together. Is the problem the HP laptop? Is it the HP monitor? I cannot say, but it's an HP problem either way, so I took off a star. As long as you are not buying this monitor to work with an HP laptop, I recommend it.

Waste of Money
I have a 34 inch HP envy all in one. I ordered this monitor to go with my all in one. The display is very dull and not vibrant at all. This monitor does not even come close to my Hp all in one. Don't wast your money on this

Big curves great screen!
Wow! That's all I can say...if your looking for a high end screen with beautiful sound and web cam, this is it.One thing that's not mentioned to get the camera working along with the monitor you must use the two cables supplied, not just hdmi but also their special USB, this was very confusing as it's not in the instructions.

Dont buy it for the camera and speakers.
The web camera is terrible (my laptop’s camera is far superior) and the speakers mediocre, if better than what you usually get on a monitor. I aLso found it did not work unless plugged into the wall and the cord seems defective - if touched it disconnects. But the screen itself is nice.
