great fit, not too tight on a fiat panda (04) steering wheel. did not sew through the stitching but used blunt leather needles and sewed through the holes on the edge of the cover. used two needles, thread cord and put through 2 adjacent holes from the outside in, carry on round the wheel and pull tight and tie off when you get to a spoke( an assistants finger helps, like tying a bow) sew through the holes past the spoke , outside to in on the first pair of holes and pull tight and tie off, carry on sewing like this all the way round. pull tight til the edges nearly meet and the thread makes a very good seam and excellent grip on the cover. looks great and the grip is improved no end, perfect for older cars. sewing like this is a lot harder than some covers state but the end result is more professional and less likely to go wrong. just take your time and it does work.

Very good quality for the price, looks good in place

Pleased with this. I needed a steering wheel cover to suit a Citroen 2CV, not easy! The diameter suits but the Citroen has a thin rim. Overcome by including a thin layer of foam which incidentally also improved the overall feel of the finished job. The 'real' leather feels good and the supplied cords are more than long enough. I was able to remove the wheel which makes the job easier particularly as I sewed through the leather to be sure of the fit.

Really pleased with the cover. Arrived quickly so I got on with getting it fitted. I have a Nissan NV200 which has a thin steering wheel, I thought it might be too big in this regard, but it fits very well. It takes about an hour to sew together and can be a bit fidly being black,k with black thread. But take your time and work methodically and you should get a good result.

Cheap and nasty plastic, despite stating that it was leather I returned it

My wife wanted this for her car, and according to her, it was fairly simple to do, and it looks amazing. She also says the steering wheel feels so much better now.

You need to sew this cover on and getting the stitching neat does take some effort. Looks great when done and has nice textured feel in the hands for grip. Overall well worth the effort.

Nice product, but NOT LEATHER!!

This steering wheel cover looks really good and was real easy to install. The hardest part is getting it onto the steering wheel, but stitching it together is easy, you just go through the stitching from one side to the other. It made my wheel feel a lot nicer and is good value for the money. I highly recommend this cover if you want a nice OEM looking option that fits well.

This fit very well on my Hilux steering wheel. Nice and thin, so it is a good repair when your steering wheel starts to peel. Advice is when you are stitching it on. Start at the seem, so it lines up when you complete your way around the wheel. Be prepared for slow repetitive sewing to get it on and to make sure to keep your stitching tight. If you do, it is a nice feeling cover and none of the stitching pulled through the fabric.

It's NOT real leather, but at this price point i'd be surprised if it was. Super easy installation.....if you know how. If you know what you're doing it should only take about 30-45 mins. Good fit and the quality is OK for the price. Plenty of thread and 2 needles supplied. I would buy again and recommend this product.

Paßgenau Mensch sollte Handnäherfahrung haben,wenn es schön werden soll. Ich habe ca 1h gebraucht und von Automenschen Lob für die optisch ansprechende Arbeit erhalten. Das ist jedoch auch dem beigelegten Werkzeug (Nadel, gewachster Faden) zu verdanken. Das Plastelenkrad fühlt sich mit dem Ledercover richtig gut an. Auch im Winter ohne Handschuhe. Und sieht gut aus. Die farbige Naht macht was her. Dieses Cover und das Einnähen war ein Geschenk. Der Empfänger freut sich darüber, wie schön sich das Lenkrad nun anfaßt. Kein Schwitzen im Sommer, kein Frieren im Winter.

Der Bezug ist im wesentlichen wie beschrieben: außen sowas wie Leder, fühlt sich ok an, ist aber schon sehr dünnes Spaltleder. Darunter Kunststoff-Vlies. Das polstert ein wenig, wäre bei den heutigen gepolsterten Lenkrädern eigentlich nicht notwendig gewesen. Das Vernähen war einfach, ich musste allerdings mehrmals rundum nachspannen, da ich mich ob des Materials nicht getraut habe, die Naht direkt beim vernähen so stramm zu ziehen wie sie muss. Hat alles in allem etwas über 2h gedauert. So kann man das zuvor recht abgegriffene Lenkrad jedenfalls wieder benutzen, ohne dran festzukleben.
