AVERYEasy Peel Oval ID Labels, Sure Feed, Print to Edge, Perm Adhesive, 1.5" x 2.5", 270 Ct (6583)

Very mixed feelings about this purchase. I needed some oval stickers with my business logo and in the end they worked great for that. The quality of the label is very good, but Avery's software and template set-up deserves 1 star. I first downloaded the label creating software from their website added my logo, and thought wow this is really easy. I then hit print and watched in horror as the whole sheet printed as completely black filled ovals. Tried messing around with it and never got it to work. Then I thought ok I'll keep it simple and just download the template and import it into Word. I tried copying and pasting my logo into the template....it pasted so huge that you could only see the corner of my logo, and it wouldn't let me drag it to move or resize the logo. I'm a graphic designer, so I know my way around a computer. I finally took a screen shot of the (lame) Word template, pasted into Adobe Illustrator as a JPEG and then used it as a template to create my own layout. Worked perfectly, and printed some very nice looking labels. Since your average buyer doesn't have this option, I would guess that most people are going to have an incredibly frustrating experience with this product.

They stick really well to ball jars and yet they can be removed after you finish the product. I have tried several other Avery labels for jars and these are the best.

Avery's products and customer service are the best soo far. I have been using their labels for couple of years now and very satisfied with every products that I used. They have soo many options for every businesses. It does not take too much of your time to find a right label with right designs. If you need help ,customer service is really helpful as well. I haven't tried the ''let us print'' option yet since I have the small business but maybe in the future I might use it. Great product with great price.

I use these labels to let buyers know what's "inside the card" on my hand-crafted greeting cards.I put each card and envelope in a sealed clear plastic envelope, and put one of these stickers on the back of the plastic envelope. I use the Avery website to design and print the labels on my MacBook Pro, and I've never had a problem with them. I set up the basic design ("Inside the card:"), and type each card's inside text or verse below that. Works great every time.The labels themselves are great quality, easy to remove from the backing, and adhere well to the plastic. No need to look further; these are perfect for my needs.

I purchased the Avery 6583 white oval labels for labeling my home canning projects. Now I can remember what is in the jar, and most importantly for food safety reasons, when it was canned.I downloaded the free Microsoft Word template from the Avery website (used on a PC), printed the labels with my laserjet printer, and stuck them on half pint and pint mason jars. Perfect and so easy!They look so much better than just scribbling on the jar with a marker. Not only can you display as much information as needed on the label, but also you can make them as decorative as you like. I uploaded some photos to customer images to illustrate.I'm sure these labels will work well for many other home projects.

These are great labels.. however they are basic and they are NOT print to the edge. Do not think you are saving money by switching these out instead of avery 22804... you cannot use the same template even though these are the same size and they are not print to the edge... so I recommend using a white border or no boarder at all. If you are fine with matte basic labels and don't have a complicated design, these are for you

I should have ordered larger labels; they are for the inside of home made guitars.
