Shea Butter for Natural Hair Complete Conditioning Co-Wash, 10 Ounce

Got this from a blog recommendation and was not disappointed. For the price, this is a great option for Co-washing. I have very fine/thin hair that is curly when it comes out of my scalp for about five inches before it is too damaged from existence and begins to straighten/break off. Thus my hair is chin length and I try to be as gentle with it as possible: minimal heat, minimal shampooing, lots of moisture. I like the coco butter scent and the heavy/creamy texture. Even with my thin hair, I do find myself using a good full "tablespoon" worth of product, but the price makes that possible. Rinse well and this product will move the "greasy" scalp oil without stripping it and leave your hair light enough to curl/style without much effort. Worth it.

Have not used standard shampoo in 8 years. Tried Wen, but found that I frequently lost gobs of hair throughout the month. LOVE this product, doesn't take much for my chin-length hair. Actually, only need to apply to scalp & massage in, wash my body, add a bit of shower water to hair and work through, shave & rinse! No need for 'conditioner', it's already conditioned! Who doesn't love a 5-8 min shower? No tangles (and I have VERY curly hair), can pull a comb through my towel-dried hair from scalp to ends without getting stuck! You will NOT be disappointed :) P.S. I've been using this for a few weeks now, and it's helped my hair immensely! I still use a clarifying shampoo occasionally, but this stuff is great for regular use. My hair is on the finer side so this moisturizes pretty well and I love the scent.

I’m always surprised how well this works, especially for how inexpensive it is. I have long wavy curly hair and generally my scalp is dry, but my roots get oily after day three. It gets my hair and scalp clean and super moisturized, and it smells awesome. It doesn’t go a super long way for me because I have so much hair, so that’s the one drawback. Cost wise, not a big deal, but I hate the idea of buying another single use plastic bottle just to throw it away every 5 or 6 weeks.

I really like this. I have normal (not dry or oily) 2b/2c curls, and this works great for me. I believe it is curly girl approved, which is why I chose it. It has the texture of conditioner which is odd at first, and in general I'm not a big fan of coconut scent, but overall a really great product, especially for the price! It runs out faster than shampoo or conditioner since it's all I use, though.

I have been trying to find a cheaper option than Wen. I thought I would try in on my dry, naturally curly hair. I love this product. It is heavy, but I mix it with another cowash and it leaves my hair so moisturized! As a bonus, it smells so clean. Give it a try.

UPDATE: I used it for quite a while. A year I think in total. At first, it was a god send. Then, my hair started getring harder to comb. Then, it started getring puffy and dry. I used a clarifying shampoo to "reset." It ended up drying out my hair very badly over time. I don't know if the formula changed, or if it just did damage with repeated use. Either way, I tossed it and never looked back. Still have not found the perfect care for my hair. I wish I could. All I know is this WAS too good to be true. I would not recommend. I have been looking for a unicorn like this. I wanted a COwash that was sulfate and silicone free, very moisturizing without being greasy, extremely gentle on my scalp, and even more gentle on my budget. Tada, this is it, and I am thrilled. I have very long, dry, puff prone, wavy hair and lots of it. This has finally given me the soft, flowing, shiny tresses that I have been after for 20 years. I actually love my hair now, which is a big deal. I have been at odds with my hair my whole life. Will be using this product forever!

I love Cantu. The scent of all their products is great and not overwhelming. Very natural and they do what you expect them to do. My curls are happy and hydrated!

Felt weird to use at the beginning because it doesn't lather all that much- but loved the way my hair looked and felt the morning after. Not greasy at all. The texture looked perfect and my natural curls never looked better. My hair generally gets immediately frizzy when it's humid- but that didn't happen after using this product! I'm amazed.

Sigo el método curly. Es mi co-wash favorito, y no es tan caro como otros. A veces he probado otros y siempre vuelvo a este. Tengo el pelo 3C muy rizado, abundante y seco. Me lo deja espectacular, limpia bien y no provoca picores.

This co-wash is a life changer! I never knew what a co-wash is until I tried this one! It makes my hair super soft and my hair smells absolutely amazing!!! Highly recommend it!
