Aurora Ipsilon Satin Orange Fine Point Fountain Pen - AU-B10O-F

Defected Product
Update my previous reviewAlthough the pen was defective, the seller promptly accepted the refund request and offered a full refund with no restocking fees.____The pen leaks ink like crazy. If I lightly flick my wrist (even if the natural recoil occurs nationally in the process of writing), the pen will literally drip ink drops. I requested a return and the seller accepted the request, but it seems that they will charge 15% of restocking fees! Additionally, the box has an additional sticker indicating an "F" over the "M". I wasn't even sure if the nib I got was a fine nib or a medium nib. I ordered a fine nib, but what I received was a thick nib. Overall a very bad experience.

An aura of awesomeness
I'm extremely pleased with this pen for the following reasons:The resin barrel has a very soft satin finishThe neck is flush with the barrel - this results in a much more pleasant grip in my opinion. The color (deep orange) is as advertised. The cap is a snap-on, not twist - in an industry where most caps are twists, its so nice to find a snap-on cap. I find it very annoying to have to twists caps on and off for Fountain Pens because you can't leave the cap off - the nib will dry - and taking it on and off constantly slows me down. This pen is a FINE POINT and writes a nicely defined slim line without being too thin. Your ink and paper may produce varying results.I'm still undecided about the weight of the pen. It is lighter than I like, but it is well balanced. The pen comes in a lovely case and box, with the converter already inside and a single cartridge (which I haven't used yet).Hope this helps!

Oh Boy!
I wanted an orange pen to hold my UT burnt orange Iroshizuku ink. I'm not disappointed. Aurora makes an excellent pen. Writing with it is a joy! It is easy to fill. I carry it with me all the time. The fine nib is perfect since I don't like thick script. My compliments to Aurora.
