SolTrek Flip Lock and Anti Shock Pika Trekking Pole Set | for Walking and Hiking

I would have given 5 stars, but I could never figure out how to get the anti-shock to work. So I wish I had just gone with the regular stiff type, they weigh less. I am very happy with the cork handles, soft straps and different attachments. I would have liked to make the straps smaller/tighter, but it pulled where the strap gets thick instead of the skinny part to adjust it. Not a big deal, though.

The poles are good quality, but the springs are a little firm. I also remove the upper clamps when in the spring mode because you must have them loose for the springs to work and the clamps kept coming open. I was afraid they would loosen up and fall off so I just removed them. They do not slip and have held up well over 4 different walks. I am going on a 3 day trip next week and we will see how they hold up to that abuse. Great price for how they have worked so far!

If you are snow shoeing these are perfect. Backcountry skiing where you might fall on them attached to your pack? They tend to bend a little.

These work as expected but the cork handle is rather uncomfortable for my hands. They're probably designed for a larger hand than mine. The skin at the base of my thumb and first finger gets irritated after about a mile. I guess I need to wear gloves.

Using poles for stability after major back surgery. They allow for me to walk erect rather than to one side when walking with a cane. Especially when walking distance less tiring. Use the rubber feet for traction.

Use these for hiking and snowshoeing. Very sturdy poles

First time using trekking poles and loved it! These poles with their anti-shock, adjustable straps, cork handles and flip-lock mechanisms all functioned very well! Got a great upper body workout!

Big help to me recovering from back surgery.
