This is a huge set of piercing jewelry and needles. There are so many jewelry pieces. All basic piercing jewelry. There is a great variety. HOWEVER..... None of the jewelry or forceps are sterile. The needles are in sterile packaging, but nothing else is. Jewelry will need to be sterilized to be safe to use in a fresh piercing. This is not meant for home piercing by inexperienced piercers or those without the ability to keep a sterile environment and sterile tools. There are also 10 alcohol swabs and ONE pair of gloves. This is an excellent set to learn with on silicone body parts and I most recommend this set for that purpose.
