WEN 10-Inch Polisher - GREAT PRODUCT!
Found myself looking for a new car polisher, after the Craftsman brand I had used for years bit the dust. After researching on Amazon and other locations, I decided to buy the WEN 10- Inch Polisher. Used it today for the 1st time, and I am very impressed. Unlike other reviews that mention the heaviness of the unit, I found this to be relatively light-weight, and easy to maneuver around my cars when polishing. I even used it with one hand in some of the hard to reach areas. While only one-speed, I let the polisher do the work, and it removes the wax easily! I still apply the car wax (Maquire's Carnuba Wax) by hand, but found removing and buffing the car to be a breeze. And I'm one who applies wax all over the car, chrome trim, windows/mirrors and throughout the body of the cars, and this polisher works great! I used the cotton polisher pads that come with this product to remove the car wax, then buffed it up to a great shine using the wool buffer pads I bought separately from WEN. The hard plastic case that it comes in is great for storing the polisher unit and the buffer pads, all in one place in my garage. Great product, well worth the money.

Solid
After ordering and reading reviews and other things posted online about 10 inch random orbit polishers, I was pretty certain that I was going to end up returning this and have to buy something stronger and more expensive for what I was wanting to do (remove swirls and light scratches). I figured I would try this though because I really didn't want to spend alot of money on a dual action polisher and the pads for DA polishers are around 6 inches and didn't want to spend 3 days doing our 3 trucks. For $30 this was a great purchase and glad I tried it. I was not able to get out a few deeper scratches, but it did get rid of swirl marks and light scratches. Unlike what some other posters said, this machine does not stop spinning when you put some weight on it. It does slow down, but I was able to put most of my weight into it and it would still spin. The bonnets that came with it are pretty bad and didn't even bother using them. I bought a few microfiber and foam bonnets for a few bucks each from Walmart, as well as Meguiars Ultimate Compound, polish, and wax. I was able to get out all the swirl marks with the Ultimate Compound on a microfiber bonnet after only a few minutes on each panel. I attached a before and after photo in the photo section. Could maybe get some of the deeper scratches with something more abrasive than ultimate compound on maybe a wool bonnet and may give that a try that next time to get a few of the deeper scratches I didn't get the first time through. Also make waxing a breeze. I waxed my truck in probably about a third of the time it normally takes me. Performs great and seems to be well built, and overall I'm very satisfied with the purchase.

Excellent little tool .... and the price is right.
This is a nice little machine .... especially for the price. I confess that this is my first time owning such a device and I am by no means a professional car detailer. But having said that, I've done all three of my vehicles and it's fairly easy to use. As well, it does a nice job (especially for an amateur like me). It comes with both a terri cloth bonnet as well as an applicator one. The applicator one is a little clumsy so I just ended up applying the wax by hand (just a plain ole can of Turtle Wax with the sponge applicator). This seemed to give me a little more control over the process as well as let me get to those hard to reach spots. The terri cloth bonnet got me through all three cars but that was about it. I tossed it and assume I will simply buy a new one the next time I wax. But no surprsie there. But my cars look great all thanks to this little guy !! I can highly recommend.

much like my older one I have, but.....................................
I got this one to replace a much older Wen version on which the foam pads had disintegrated. Much like the old one in every way. Lightweight and easy for a "senior-citizen" to handle. However, the two bonnets that came with it were a major disappointment. The struggle to get the wax applicator on the buffer took two of us to stretch it over the pads. (We're old.) The "polishing" bonnet resembled a cheap motel's worn-out bath towel. It clogged with the wax I applied about half way through removing the wax, left streaks behind it, and thankfully I had the foresight to buy two of Wen's "imitation" wool polishing pads. The flimsy terry-towel one was rendered useless about half-way through removing the properly cured wax I had put on the car. (I let it dry for about two hours in a low humidity climate.) Overall I rate the machine well, a good value for the money but the supplied pads get a "zero." GET THE OPTIONAL APPLICATOR AND WOOL PADS if you want a proper wax job on your treasured ride.

Decent low-end polisher
This is a decent low-end polisher. Don't press down on it or it will drag, but if you only apply the weight of the tool it seems to work ok. The pad that comes with it is useless. Order high quality pads. If you are going to use it often get a better quality tool.

Does a great job and so much better/easier than by hand. Great for a beginner like me to do a great job with no worries of paint burning.

Quizá con un poco más de potencia

Nice machine. It worked fairly well while cutting and polishing my car. If you put too much pressure on it, the pad doesn't rotate as fast. I found even with medium pressure, the pad got caught up. A little cheaply made, but not bad for the price.
