Aluminum Motor Mount for Arrma Granite Mega Typhon/Big Rock/Senton 3S Outcast/Kraton 4S Models RC Car Monster Truck Buggy Replacement (Black)

I ordered this dress to match the fan I had on my motor which was black with the aluminum accents. I did not realize how handy this thing would be when I needed to put a smaller pinion on a motor. The stock plate would not allow it to mesh properly. However, this one has much more movement ability and so far it has worked like a charm on my Arrma Kraton 4s v2

Needed a quick replacement to the original ARRMA Granite BLX motor mount. I like that this one has bolt cutout slots to better guide the motor for proper gear mesh. The original mount doesn’t have them.

A direct replacement for the Arrma Big Rock.

I opted for this over the OE mount after I got into a collision which caused my motor mount to smile (or frown, depending on how you look at it) and wanted this because... I thought the little machined "fins" would somehow help it .... cool the motor off better..?I don't think it actually helps one bit. The key difference is that this has channels for the screw heads to ride in so when you're setting your mesh and locking the motor down, the screws recess into the mount. This give you less meat, ultimately, for the motor to lock against.I'd go Hot Racing or get the OE one. This one works fine but... eh.
