Love the smell it does smell different from the smell on it vs when u actually burn it but I still like it I have asthma and this so far is the only one I’ve been able to burn that doesn’t cause me problems I bought it bc argwood is supposedly able to absorb mold spores

I've purchased many kinds of Japanese incense, and this product is what I've come to expect from the best of them -- the scent is woodsy and subtle, without any cloying synthetic notes. To me, it didn't smell of sandalwood, as it did for another reviewer. I'm making these sticks last, but plan to purchase again.

香りを試すにはちょうど良い価格と分量です。私は、少しスパイシーな凛とした香りを好みますので、五筆は箱を開けた時に、甘い系の香りがしたので、ちょっと残念でした。火を付けると、煙は多めで、幼い頃嗅いだ艾の香りが少しして懐かしさを感じました。香りは薬品香水系ではなく、棘々しない自然な香りです。ゆっくりと甘くて優しい暖かな香りが広がり、部屋の空気が穏やかな安心感に包まれ癒やされます。残り香も程よく、邪魔になるほどキツくありません。☆は、自分が求めていた香りと違ったので４つですが、良い商品だと思いました。
