Is this suitable or settable for uk wifi?

Yes it is, but you will need an EU/UK adaptor. The distributor I purchased from included an adaptor, but it didn't make good contact with the Repeater. However, an adaptor I purchased separately does work well. You should be aware that using an adaptor means that the Repeater sticks out from the wall a bit.

What is range of this ? If I plug in the house, how far up my garden will I get a strong signal ?

It will depend on a number of factors, like how thick your walls are, how high you plug it in, etc. But, my experience is only a few yards, 10 or so.

is it mesh compatible with friz!box 7530ax

I would think so. Certainly working fine as part of a mesh with my regular 7530. Can't imagine the 7530ax would be less compatible.

I have the Fritz! 3000 repeater in my back room and the internet goes to my shed. Would I be able to hook up the 1200 as a second repeater in the shed

I would think so yes. I have Fritz! 3000 and 1200 repeaters both working in the same network. As long as one is within range of the other, they should extend the mesh quite happily.
