Medical necessity
I like these pants but the dog doesn't -- but she needs the coverage because she was attacked by a big dog and her whole lower body was shaved and it is cold where we live. I may shorten them to see if that pleases her more.

Not great for our Sharpei/Lab mix after ACL surgery
These didn't work for us at all. Fit was spot on, but they pulled off way too easy when she sat. It was kind of distressing for us getting them on her as her leg was scary for us to touch her much after her surgery-- we were distressed about the friction with the fleece on her leg hair. Going up her leg was hard to do carefully, but the elastic waistband had no trouble slipping back down the opposite direction (with the grain of her short wiry coat).

Not worth the money
Bought these for our dog after leg surgery to keep her shaved leg warm in winter. Seemed like the perfect solution but hasn’t worked out as hoped. Excess fabric with pleats gets in the way of movement. Elastic waistband is very loose so they slide down as our dog walks around even though they’re the right size. Rarely use because not worth the hassle to constantly pull up and adjust.

Perfect to keep the snow and mud off your dogs coat! My dog was warm and comfy in these pants!
Wow, these are amazing dog pants!! They keep all the mud and snow clumps from being stuck in my dogs coat. Makes my dog very happy and willing to play in the snow longer. I am happy to not bring the snow and mud in the house when we are done! The quality of the fabric and elastic is really amazing, these will last a long time!! Not to mention my cold dog was no longer cold!!
