They’re an eyesoreThis is a good height for him to jump to, and then jump between the bars onto the mattress, and it still looks attractive.I painted it several colors, sanded it to distress it a little, then put a sheepskin on it for softness and grip when he jumps up. Have actually found it useful for humans, too, lolI own several pieces of furniture from the company and they’ve always been solid wood and sturdy. Plus I can be creative and paint or stain them however I want. I’ve ought bookcases, console table, dining chairs, and surely other pieces I can’t even recollect. They make such a nice quality product that when I need a small inexpensive or temporary piece of furniture, I make a point of see what they have on offer first.

Solid and beautiful farmhouse wood bench! I stained it to match my farmhouse Pottery Barn table and it turned out gorgeous. I absolutely love it!

I bought this bench because it was the right size and the same style as my kitchen table and since it was unfinished, I could tailor it to match exactly what I needed. I primed and painted the base black and then stained and sealed the seat with poly. The bench took both paint and stain beautifully and was smooth and ready to finish when I received it so that saved a lot of prep time.

Beautiful bench!!! I absolutely love this. The quality is perfect and it is so sturdy. I knew going into the finishing that Parawood can be harder to stain so I used General Finishes Gel Stain to get the most even stain application. I used antique walnut to match my table and it came out beautiful. I also used an oil based polyurethane as my topcoat for the best durability and smoothest finish. I will add there were 2 spots in the wood that will not accept the stain. Almost like wood glue had touched the wood or something similar. It is noticeable in those spots so I will put that side towards the underside of the table but otherwise no complaints.

Arrived promptly, undamaged, and well packaged. This bench is GREAT! Very sturdy has weight to it! Hubby is 6'4 and 280ish and bench doesn't so much as creak. Wood is beautiful and ready to be finished in whatever way you want. I have bought 3 benches from this seller, two to use with my new dining table and one for in the den. Stained 2 and painted 1, all turned out beautifully!! Highly recommend this product and seller!! Couldn't be happier!

Nice quailty. Perfect for the table I will begin building this weekend (Yay) it's a nice size well made sturdy and so easy to assemble. Took me 10 minutes with my 3 kids climbing all over it. No problems with holes lining up it was solid. However it immediately started to splinter and become rough because it is natural wood unsealed. So it will ultimately need lacquer or poly before any real use. No questions, must be sealed. Otherwise not bad and I'm assuming although $150 range seems high to me, that's actually cheap for benches!

Great sturdy solid wood bench. Gave it 4 stars for assembly because one of the nuts was stripped and had to purchase replacement. But overall it’s definitely worth the money
