Good source of protein for person with food intolerances
This was recommended by a functional medicine practitioner as an alternate source of protein for a dairy, soy, and brown rice intolerant stomach. Itโs fine if you mix it with something flavored, like frozen blueberries or mashed pumpkin. It can be used in a pinch as a food substitute when mixed with plain water, if you donโt care about flavor.

Great Product!
I have a strict diet do to some GI issues, and I've been looking for a protein powder that had a high amino content without the junk. I can't do whey protein either. This is the first protein I've used that doesn't make me feel bloated or over full. I also appreciate how it's raw without sugar or artificial stuff. You can add your own sugar or stevia or splenda or whatever. I mix it in my nutri bullet with stevia, cocao and sometimes a green apple - tastes awesome. It does mix well, but you do need to add something other wise it's not that tasty. You could try the vanilla blast version if you're worried about taste, but like I said you can start raw and make it whatever you want.

Great protein for Vegans!
I love this protein! When I use it I like to mix it with a brown rice protein to even out the texture a bit and meet more nutritional value. I personally love that it comes in a plain flavor so I can jazz it up any way I would like. As a vegan I have had my fair share of gross tasting protein and this is not one of them! I have used this in baking as well as smoothies and it works great. Very pleased!

Happy Camper
For my NutriBullet smoothies, I USED to add UNFLAVORED, UNSWEETENED protein powder that I bought in the bulk-bins at my local supermarket at a reasonable cost. However, they discontinued the bulk items after Covid hit, and I found that the pre-packaged brands all contain some kind of sweetener (I'm NOT a fan of the Stevia aftertaste, and who NEEDS it when there are a lot of sweet FRUITS in a smoothie?) -- not to mention the HIGH PRICES of these other products!!However, I thought I'd give it one more try, and search for an AFFORDABLE, unsweetened, unflavored protein powder.HOORAY!! I found it!! This brand (Growing Naturals) has ONE ingredient: Pea Protein... and the cost is doable!!I just tried it in one of my smoothies, and (because you can't TASTE it), it was FANTASTIC!! I also feel energized and satiated. WIN/WIN!I will be adding THIS product to my Subscribe & Save items. :o)

...satisfying with a pleasant, earthy, slightly salty, pea...
Yummy! Well, not exactly: satisfying with a pleasant, earthy, slightly salty, pea (yea, it could have tasted like daffodils for all I knew beforehand) flavor is how I would describe its taste. Upon first, dry sampling, I realized that it was slightly salty, so in a (hopefully) harmonious effort to enhance its natural nip, I measured a scoop-and-a-half into a glass of plain water--added just a pinch more salt--quickly stirred it with a spoon, and down the hatch it went. It's a completely agreeable taste for me, and I like that it mixes easily in plain water.

I've been using the Arbonne Pea Protein powder which is wonderful but expensive
I am usually able to discern a product from the reviews. I've been using the Arbonne Pea Protein powder which is wonderful but expensive. After reading the reviews, I decided that I would order and try the Growing Naturals Protein powder in vanilla.I opened it and made my first smoothie. I immediately poured that smoothie down the sink and threw the protein powder in the trash - the entire container. What a waste of money. Horrible taste and very gritty. Not acceptable.

Quality U.S./Canadian protein powder with a low-glycemic index!
I've been looking for an all grown/processed U.S./Canadian protein powder with a low-glycemic index along with a balance of essential amino acids and found this to be a good product that meets all my needs! Here is my smoothie recipe if you're looking for something that taste good and has nutritional benefits for most food diets:1 tablespoon Country Spoon Montmorency Red Tart Cherry Juice Concentrate 34 oz (read label for benefits);2 tablespoons Growing Naturals Pea Protein Powder Original, 32.2 Ounce (high protein, low-glycemic & all originated and processed in U.S. & Canada);4 or 6 frozen/fresh strawberries & 1 frozen/fresh banana;1 or 2 teaspoons of Bragg organic apple cider vinegar (read the label for it's many benefits);8 ounces of Silk Almond Unsweetened Milk (almonds are a low-glycemic food, also read label for it's benefits);1 tablespoon of coconut cream (optional for low GI index diets)1 cup of ice.Cheers!

Ask your doctor
The taste was very nice. It blended well and has a nice combination of Amino Acids. Problem was it made my heart race. I talked to my dr. and his assistant and they also had the same symptoms. Sorry I can't send it back for a refund.

Extremely high quality product
I really like this product in terms of taste and quality of ingredients. If you're not used to it, the smell and flavour might be slightly unpleasant at the beginning. However, it can be sprinkled in your breakfast, smoothies or pancakes, for example, and it blends really well.
