The system is easy to install and tops off the tank consistently. The pump operates quietly - it is audible but unobtrusive in a quiet room, one almost has to listen for it. My one criticism of the system is that the pump and external sensor connectors are based on stereo audio jacks like those used in wired headphones, and as such can feel like they are fully seated when actually incompletely plugged in, and as they plug into the underside of the controller it can be easy to miss when a connector is not plugged in all the way. This situation can lead to random alarms due to an intermittent connection or disconnection when a cable is jostled or works loose. More secure and stable connectors--preferably ones with locking behavior--would head off such problems and their attendant headaches.

The unit works fairly well. It is not really great for larger tanks. If you have a smaller cube, this is a good fit. I will say the first one I received didn’t have all the components and it was not a simple process to get the missing components. I had to return the unit and order a new one. Because the first one was missing components that I was unaware of until finding a video, it created a mess in my home office with water.

I bought this for my 11 gallon marine tank. It seems to work great so far. I just put the small pump in a 5 gallon bucket with a small hole for wire and tube to go though. It’s been working great for several months so far. Probably buy another for my 30 gallon tank.

This is well designed Auto top off. It is quite easy to install. The pump is small enough to give you quite a few options for fitting into smaller water containers. This unit does a great job alerting you if you have to much water in tank as well as plenty of pressure to pump water to fill up your tank to the level you want to keep it at. Currently I am using it on my 10 gallon salt water tank to keep my water topped off. It is doing a great job.The only issue I can see with this unit is being that it is an external sensor. It needs clear glass in order for it to read the water level. So i cannot be used on tinted or blacked out glass. I cant really knock this product because I knew this before I purchased it. Besides from that the hose mounting clip that clips the hose to the tank... It works... but could be improved upon to be smaller and provide hose relief to keep the hose from kinking.Besides that this unit is a great deal. I'll look to buy another one to install on my 35 gallon reef.
