The Soul Winner (Updated, Annotated): How to Lead Sinners to the Saviour

This book is definitely a must read for all Soul Winners. Hands down!
This book is a must read. I brought it originally as a E-book but I'm buying this in an actual book form as I find that this is a invaluable resource to have and I plan on reading it again. Spurgeon speaks truth boldly and unashamedly. I found this to be of such encouragement and found within its pages ideas to implement, things to ponder, rebuke where needed. Truly found that this is a book about the heartbeat behind evangelism.

Gods grace(free gift of eternal life)
Classic book on evangelism. It shows that we have broken Gods holy laws (have lied, stolen, etc., )and that Jesus paid our fine when He died on the cross for our sins, and rose the 3rd day. And that all we have to do is repent and believe the gospel. Turn from our sin and believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. That’s what this book teaches.

Very practical
Amazes me nothing new under the sun with ministry. Spurgeon’s book reiterates the importance of having devotion with God everyday; which, impacted his ministry. He was true to the Word of God and God planted a love and urgency for people to receive salvation through Jesus Christ. A challenge for us is to be Soul winners for the Lord. It saddens me we have been distracted from our calling and have fallen victim to the political nature of church. Refreshing reading!

In-depth and biblical book from the king of Preachers Charles Spurgeon.
I like the in-depth and biblical nature of the book. Charles C.H Spurgeon was a world acclaimed preacher whose reputation still enjoys one of the highest ratings of experts in homiketics, today. The language is accurate and current.

Great advice for would-be evangelists from “the Prince of Preachers”
I enjoy reading books by old-time evangelists. When I saw this one available for free on Amazon Kindle, I knew I needed to add it to my library.Reading this like a daily devotional, I found lots of good advice for evangelism. While it is mostly written for those who preach—either in a church or open-air settings—there are also good points for believers who practice “friendship evangelism” and other types of one-on-one relational witnessing techniques.I like that Spurgeon not only talked about the believer’s message, but also his or her prayer life, character and expectations. He also used personal examples to illustrate his points. The editors of this book did a good job of transcribing this book for publication in electronic form. Although I found some typos, it was a fairly easy read. I recommend it for pastors and anyone who wants to be a better soul-winner.

Soul stirring for soul winning
This is a great book. No doubt it is from the pen of the Prince of preachers. I have learnt new things and encouraged where I was getting discouraged in reaching out to the lost. This book is not only a good instruction on soul winning. It is also a good read for personal sanctification for anyone who seeks to win the lost must himself take care of himself.

Every Evangelist must read and study
Pastor Charles Spurgeon has truly spent hours and hours in the presence of the Holy Spirit asking Him to teach the Word of God, and out of that joyful study he writes to all those who have a true and sincere calling to win souls for the Lord's Kingdom. Thank You Lord Jesus for the life and ministry of Pastor Charles Spurgeon.
