Kingston DataTraveler Exodia Flash Drive USB 3.2 Gen 1 with Protective Cap and Keyring in Multiple Colours - DTX/64GB-2P

Picked up the Kingston DataTraveler Exodia 64GB as a backup drive for transferring files between work and home, and it’s doing exactly what I need it to. Speeds are decent for a USB 3.2 Gen 1 – nothing mind-blowing, but fast enough for documents, media files, and the occasional larger video project. Definitely better than older USB 2.0 drives. Build quality feels solid. It’s lightweight, but doesn’t feel cheap. I like that it comes with a protective cap (which actually stays on) and the keyring loop is a nice touch – makes it easy to attach to my bag or keys so I don’t lose it. I also got one in a different colour to easily tell it apart from my other drives. Simple idea, but super useful. No issues with compatibility so far – worked plug-and-play with Windows, Mac, and even a smart TV. Great little drive for the price if you just need dependable storage on the go.

Cannot comment much as bought with the intention of taking with me abroad in a few months to be given as gifts. I am aware that at the pruxe point they will not be the 'fastest' in terms of read n write speeds, but that is not a big issue for me personally. That said, arrived sealed, bramd new and well package, looked exactly as shown in listing, and I have hence no reason so far to be anything but content with purchase; especially at the relatively low cost.

For the price I wasn't expecting to be USB 3.2 as described, still it doesn't excuse a seller mislabelling and item especially from a reputable seller, it looks deceptive. Anyway, I bought 2x64g flash drives and the speed is consistent on both of them. It is a great value flash drive and I would recommend it.

Excellent great quality drives as you would expect from a well known brand. Good seller too

They are fine, they do what they promise to do. But the write speed is awful compared to other USB thumb drives. Read speed is just OK. For cheap drives they do their job.

i have only used this once to put windows 11 os it worked fine

I got a new laptop recently and needed a USB drive to create the recovery media. the recovery media creation software said I needed a 32Gb minimum drive so I bought the 64Gb drive to make sure there was enough room on it to store some additional software I like to install when I setup a new PC. I grabbed the 2-pack so I would have another drive available as a spare in case I need it for something else. I like that these have the removable cap, most pen drives you find have the retractable cover and I just don't like that style. I have used so many Kingston DataTraveler drives over the years, I even still have the very 1st drive I Bought, it was a custom H&R Block 256Mb drive with TaxAct software on it, bought back in 2007. these drives always work great. the new drives are a bit bulky compared to the old style but the build quality is very nice. you can tell these aren't made cheaply. Shipping was free and very quick. there were other items in my order, this was the only item that was not shipped by Amazon and these drives arrived long before the rest of the order.

Cheap 64GB usb sticks they work nicely and fast and don't overheat.
