Monster Premium Synthetic Valve Oil | Original |Take Better Care of Your Instrument Like a Pro

My son uses it for his French horn and he likes it better than the one he tried before this one.

I just received this great oil and I love it! It seems to have effectively solved my problems with continually sticking valves in my flugelhorn. I've recently been using Monster Oil in my used flugelhorn (in a really cold room). Even in the cold room, it loosened up all my valves until they are all moving smoothly up and down. These are kinda unusual conditions too (because of the cold room), but I also don't think that I'll have to keep using the Monster Oil every time that I play my flugelhorn. We purchased this for my daughter to oil the valves on her euphonium since the music store we normally purchase valve oil from is closed due to the pandemic. This was about three times the price, but it was WORTH IT! She is only 11, but she raves about how this works SO MUCH BETTER than the oil we were buying from the music store, and I have noticed her valves rarely get stuck anymore. I would recommend this valve oil to anyone, and won’t be purchasing any other oil from now on!

This is the best valve oil I have ever used! I have a '74 LA Benge trumpet. After being dropped off a stage at a gig in the '90s, the third valve had to be reformed, and had previously not worked the same since (you had to apply pressure from a certain direction so the valve wouldn't stick.) I used this oil because a friend recommended it and within half an hour of using this oil, the valve worked beautify. This oil also seems to clean out gunk build up, turning your spit brown after the first few uses. The back of the bottle says that it is magic, and that claim is 100% true.

This is a fantastic valve oil for anyone that likes to use synthetic. As long as your instrument is clean this oil will allow the valves to move as fast as possible, and it doesn't really get that "gummy" feeling after a few days like some other oils. My only real critique of this oil is that I am not a huge fan of the applicator. I wish there was a way to be a little more precise, but to be fair it is pretty much standard as far as piston valve oil applicators.

I like a thick valve oil for my instruments, especially my older ones. I would like something a little thicker than this but overall, the oil is pretty good. I was having a problem with valves sticking. The situation has improved with this oil.

I wanted my teenage trumpet player to have something with personality, so I got him a Getzen Super Deluxe circa 1945. The tone was great, but the second valve stuck like crazy and nothing we did could prevent it from acting up at the most inopportune time. I tried regular valve oil, but no dice. I read the reviews for this, rolled my eyes and clicked "buy." Holy buckets. It's been months and the initial application is still holding up. It's like new. No hiccups at all. They could probably just sell this by the drop. Anyway, before giving up and selling your sticky trumpet to some poor beginner, give this stuff a shot.
