Green Tea Bags, 100 Count, String-and-Tag Format, 2 g Each, 200 g

While we usually drink use loose leaf teas, I like to keep tea bags in my office for convenience, and I also stock up on an assortment of teas at home for guests to choose from. This green tea is a good candidate for both purposes. It is, indeed, garden fresh, as advertises, very refreshing and hydrating. If steeped, as directed on the package - for 2-3 minutes in boiling-hot water, it is not too strong and not overly mild, not intensely bitter and not intensely green - rather golden with a hint of green, sporting herbal-fresh flavor with a slight and pleasant bitterness. It makes just the right finish to lunch or dinner, or can be used as a refreshing drink on its own that is smooth and very drinkable. Unlike black tea, it doesn't give me the tannic sensation of dry mouth. The tea in these bags is Chinese tea, hand picked in Hunan province, blended to ensure high quality, and packed in Sri Lanka. The tea is kosher - as per my understanding, it's self-certified by Akbar Brothers Ltd. You get 200 g, 100 bags of 2 g each in the box. You can find 100 bags of green tea anywhere from $5 to $22, depending on several factors, including quality, organic certification, country of origin, brand, and more. It's hard to comment on the place of this tea in this rank, but at the current price of $15, or 15 cents per bag, I would say, it's an average value. Recommended.

I drink green tea often as a replacement for coffee for the health benefits and to reduce my overall caffeine intake. This is just a simple, good-quality green tea that tastes exactly how I’d expect it to. Nothing fancy, but it’s consistent and has a nice, straightforward flavor that is not too strong like some green teas can be. For the price, I really don’t think you can beat the quality and value you get with this tea. The only thing I’d improve is the packaging. There was a little bit of tea dust inside the packaging when I opened the box, so the tea bags could probably be sealed a little better. It wasn’t a big deal and definitely didn’t affect the tea itself. The bags were durable enough to make it through steeping without issue. Overall, for the price, I’m very happy with it and would buy it again.

It’s good I just prefer their black cylon tea

This is a nice everyday green tea with a clean, mild flavor and a pleasant aroma. The tea bags are easy to use, and having 100 bags in one box makes it convenient for regular drinking without constantly needing to restock. I found it enjoyable on its own, although the flavor is a little lighter than I prefer. Four stars for me, but it’s still a good choice for a simple daily cup.

I am not a green tea expert, but I find this pretty easy to drink. The flavor is mild with a light grassy note, and it is not particularly bitter or astringent. The tea brews to a light golden color and has a smooth, light mouthfeel. The strength is definitely on the milder side, so this is more of an everyday green tea than something I would reach for when I want a strong cup. The bags and strings are convenient and hold up well while brewing, so there is not much fuss involved. The overall quality seems perfectly reasonable for a regular tea bag, and having 100 bags makes it a practical thing to keep around. As for health benefits, I honestly have no idea. I drink it because I like tea, not because I know enough about the health side of green tea to judge that. For an everyday green tea, I think the value is pretty reasonable.

I like to double up on tea bags when I brew my tea, and this tea did not disappoint! It tastes extra fresh and is pretty filling. The taste is earthy and comforting with a slight bright floral note. No bitterness at all. You get so many tea bags in this box, so it is certainly a great deal! One brew is hearty enough for me to sip on for hours. I don't see anything on the box about caffeine content, but I definitely felt more relaxed than energized by this tea. It gives me a relaxed focus which is great for working or watching a documentary. I also feel like this helps with my digestion, as after I finish a full cup, I truly feel full without the heaviness of a full meal.

Drawing from my culinary background, I always look for pure, untainted flavor profiles, and this green tea delivers a remarkably fresh, earthy aroma right out of the box. There is no dusty residue or stale scent. The bags steep into a bright, clear golden color and release a smooth, clean taste that never turns harsh or overly astringent, even if left in the hot water a little too long. It is a wonderfully light and palate-cleansing brew. The hundred bags are durable and represent a fair value.

We enjoy afternoon tea time and experiment with a variety of types of tea and flavors. This tea smells fresh and is good for over two years. I used one tea bag per 18 oz. mug with water not quite boiling. I lightly sweetened with homemade mint syrup. The result was tasty. I didn't detect bitterness but that might be because the mint covered it up. We always add a little sweetener, and with green or black teas sometimes add a flavored simple syrup. Green tea is rich in antioxidants. Tea is a light beverage that tastes good and has low calories even when lightly sweetened. We like green tea served hot and also make iced tea from it. The cost of Do Ghazel Tea is higher than the name brands one might see in your local grocery store. To me, this green tea tastes fresher and better.

Very tasty 🙂
