LiftMaster 882LMW - ONLY Compatible with Security+ 2.0 LiftMaster Garage Door Openers - WiFi Supported Garage Door Control Panel -Wired Connection Required for Power Source

Had a power outage and some of the items didn't work. This item worked perfectly and super easy to install.

Wanted a second set of buttons on the back exit of the garage that are wired directly to the opener. These worked perfectly on my liftmasters and were very easy to install.

My controller to my LiftMaster started blinking yellow after a power outage due to a storm. I could not get it to "talk" to the motor/main unit again. Remotes worked and the outside keypad worked. Went on Amazon and ordered a new one. I was worried the 882LM was different over the 882LMW. Turns out the W is for WiFi. If you want to use the app this will work fine. I ordered 2 figuring the other one is just as old. I replaced them both with the new ones. Turns out the one controlling the other door is a 882LMW. I think when we had the doors installed the installer was lazy and left the old wall controller attached. I am guessing this because the installer also added my door to the other outside keypad and did not give me the new one for my door. Of course we were charged for it. I made them come back out and install it. They also kept the 2nd remote for the door. Next time I will be home and watch them. Everything is working now. Till the next storm.

Great replacement for Chamberlain garage door opener. easy set up. dropped 1 star due to sometimes needing to hit the button more than once to shut or open the door.

This is perfect and fit prefect where our existing one was. It was priced well and works perfect! It was very easy to install and took like five minutes.

Product showed up fast and was as listed. This fixed the existing problem I had with my wall opener. We had lost power causing the other one to malfunction. I bought this replacement and was an easy install and fixed the issue. The garage door opens now from the wall mounted opener.

Recently purchased a new garage door opener due to the shaft breaking on the old unit. The new one which was a Chamberlain C450 with Wifi works fantastic and came with this style of garage door control pad for the wall. Well recently a friend's garage door opener fired and bought the Chamberlain C203 which doesn't have Wifi, one remote and a VERY SMALL wall door control. It almost looks and feels like a door bell style, with more research i found that a door bell can be used for a garage door wall control. Anyway, my friend wanted something bigger to be able to see it as they already have trouble seeing. I spent hours researching for a wall control and found several types but didn't really know if this was compatible with my model. Doesn't really specify anywhere about models or anything all it really states if you have a yellow learn button or purple. I have the yellow learn button so i assume it is compatible. Really expensive for a plastic door control but as i told my friend already he got ripped off on the model he purchased. With that being said, i ordered it and very easy install as i have installed a few garage door openers. This JUST comes with the control no wires so that should already be pre-existing to the garage. Depending on the type and model, should have 2 wires (1 red/white, and 1 white.) It's a very simple setup and take about 10 minutes to install as really no power is needed to disconnect. After connecting, the door control works and functions great, haven't had a issue as it seemed it was compatible. Lift master and Chamberlain are the same company so i can't see why not. Overall, i wish these where more easy to come across as i had difficult finding one of these, they are not in stores so if your in the neighborhood for one of these, better be ready to pay a fortune.

The original control that came with my Liftmaster garage door opener, installed around 7 years ago, got fried in a recent power outage. I ordered a replacement, installed it myself. Super easy to install, and it syncs with the garage door opener instantly.

Original 882LM that worked fine for 6 years went on the fritz where it'd not respond to garage door button press while the door was partially opening and closing on its own at random times. Light button wouldn't work 90% of times either. PCB looked fine visually but one IC failed. Ordered replacement part came in 3 days and new switch was working before Amazon "delivered" notification arrived :) All I had to do was to attach the two wires to the new switch and put switch back on the wall. Light on the switch blinked a few times and it started working as it should. I could have saved 1/3 (to the door) ordering the same switch from US Amazon but didn't want to wait another couple days.
