Why does penzeys spices send hateful emails advertising ‘republicans are racists weekend’ sale?

Well, thanks for the heads up. I went and read what they have on their website about Republicans. After many years of buying their spices, I am no longer a customer!

I don’t know. Maybe if it hasn’t been it will take a minute off of your life. I wouldn’t worry about stuff like that. It’s a very good product. Super flavorful.

Can you taste the hatred in their spices? I'm of course referring to their hateful and devisive company emails and facebook posts.

It wouldn’t surprise me if you could. Many people have expressed their disdain over the emails and posts made. Sharing your viewpoint. As a Seller I’m just trying to unload my remaining inventory.

TOSS UP:  I'm a mediocre cook, but I can usually fix-up, WOW-up almost everything I eat.  After a lifetime of buying grocery store shelf herbs and spices, I discovered Penzey's at their store in a near suburb.  I've tried enough mini jars to fill the 2 ample fridge door shelves . . . As to cinnamon, I have right here beside me Penzey's Cinnamon and their VIETNAMESE Cinnamon.  Of these, the Vietnamese is a more mocha color, smells and tastes richer, costs about twice as much -- the label says, "... the highest quality cinnamon available in America today.  Extremely strong, flavorful and sweet.  ... use 2/3 what the recipe calls for."  No  country of origin.  The other jar, Penzey's Cinnamon, "Just the right mix of our four fabulous cinnamons to bring the best of each to"everything you bake.  INGREDIENTS: China cinnamon, Vietnamese cinnamon, Korintje cinnamon, CEYLON CINNAMON."   I love my Penzey's, tiny treasures in a troubled world.  Be well.
