A great third-party solution for your Hi-Lift jack. I purchased a Hi-Lift jack along with a Hi-Lift brand isolator three years ago and walked outside last week to find the isolator had split in half and fallen off the jack completely. Customer service explained they didn't warranty their goods for more than a year...seems strange when this little $20 piece is made of the same stuff parts of our suspension is. Such a beefy thing, with such a little job, should last longer. So, I figured I'd try saving a few bucks this time and go with the Daystar. I'm very, very glad I did. Where the Hi-Lift isolator did keep the handle from striking the jack it fit poorly around the jack, as if it was designed to fit something else but was retro-fit for the job. But the Daystar fits perfectly snugly around both pieces causing zero play at all. I'm very impressed with the quality of the product and even further impressed that it was cheaper. Don't waste your money on the Hi-Lift brand. Buy their jack, but buy this to keep it quiet.

The isolator fit snug and well over my Hi Lift jack. The "pull" bracket at the end of the bar does have to be unbolted and reinstalled, as I expected. Not difficult. Took about 3 minutes to install. No more noise or vibration from the handle when driving.

This one just worked on my hi-lift jack. Originally, I purchased an isolator by hi-lift for my hi-lift jack. Did not stop the rattle but his Daystar one does the trick. It is tight enough to eliminate the rattle when the lift is mounted on my jeep.

I paid full price for this item. It fits perfectly on my hi-lift model #485. Snug and tight around both the jack and handle. It did require that I remove the chain link at the top, however, as someone else mentioned before, to use the jack thereafter, you can leave the Daystar on. So u won't need to remove the chain link top to use the jack, just slide the Daystar up a bit. Enjoy!

This was a few dollars cheaper than the Hi-Lift branded handle isolator, and it does the job just as well with 1 great advantage. If you've ever used the Hi-Lift isolator, you know it's a HUGE PITA to get off when you actually need to use your jack. The Daystar doesn't come off "easily" but it does come off a lot easier than the Hi-Lift branded one.

Definitely a better design than the one from hi-lift with a single exception. You will have to remove the plate that allows you to hook a chain to the top of the jack. the hi-lift brand one has the correct cut out to leave it on. However it allows your jack to rattle, this one does not (and honestly i have a winch so have never used the chain plate anyways).Definitely well worth it. If they improved the cutout to allow the plat to remain this would be a 5 star review no problem.

Product works exactly as expected. I’ve been running it for several months now and have not noticed any degradation in the material. It would be nice if it was easier to remove. You will most likely need to remove the top of your Jack bar in order to install this product.

Does what it's built to do. Built solid, eliminates the annoying rattle of the Hi-Lift jack handle when traveling down the road also keeps the parts from rubbing the paint off of each other so it helps prolong the life of the jack handle and shaft. If you have issues with noise caused by your rattling jack this should help if not cure the problem.
