Best oil for BMW Motorcycles.
I have purchased this oil for my 2007 BMW K1200GT several times. It's much less expensive on Amazon compared to dealership prices. It's exactly what the manufacturer recommends and my motorcycle really responds well to it. I've used it for over 30,000 miles. My engine, clutch ,and transmision are integral so, this is also clutch oil technically. I would not use anything else in my BMW motorcycle. Just repurchased this item. Using it on a 2007 BMW K1200GT with 75,000 miles. This is excellent oil for this motorcycle. I have used it exclusively since 42,000 miles/December 2018.

Perfect for BMW R1200 motorcycles
Castrol has a long history of making BMW Motorrad branded engine oil, so it's a name you can trust. But do your research before you use it anyway for your model motorcycle. Since there is much more to consider now than in the old days (for instance, clutch operation for a particular engine oil) don't base you choice just on the oil's weight and API specs. Consider user feedback and technical reviews for your motorcycle series. That said, I think this Castrol 06113 Power1 4T 5W-40 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil is as good as the OEM brand, and a lot less expensive when purchased here. However, the OEM container capacity is slightly greater at 1 liter, vs. 1 quart for this Castrol juice. I find that the recommended oil change quantity of 4 liters is excessive, with 4 quarts also being a little high when using the sight window to determine the proper fill (with a new filter). So, I don't see the advantage of 1 liter bottles unless your bike needs to be topped off occasionally between oil changes.
