Some effort is needed to make the characters pop up
The styling of the bus is great, bright and colourful. It appears well made and sturdy and my twin niece and nephew (18 mths) loved it straight away. They struggled to get the characters to pop up- the spring inside each characters slot was a little difficult for them to activate but am sure that will improve with age. The adults playing with them had no problem making the characters pop out of the holes. The only slight issue we had was that the slots were the right size for them to put their fingers in and get stuck - they thought this was a great game and made them love the toy even more. It could be that at 18mths they are a little too young for it but as I said, they absolutely loved it.

Great little toy (simple but effective)
Had one of these before which was just coloured wooden pegs with faces (bought it from a toy shop) but then saw this bus with characters sold at a reasonable price on amazon. My son (15 months) loved the original one so decided to upgrade to the animal bus and wasn’t disappointed. These can be used at various ages before the age of one my son loved watching have someone ping out the peg people with hoots of laughter, then as he got older he progressed to pinging them himself and later on able to put them in for himself. Great toy for all types of learning from dexterity, hand eye coordination and colour recognition.

Attractive ,well made and presented toy.
I felt the use of this toy is restricted by it's simplicity. For an 18 month old child the action of putting the stick in the hole is fairly simple. I feel that this could be extended if there was a different size stick and hole for each animal which would mean the child has to find the correct hole which matches the colour, face and size. This would encourage a further exploration of the toy.

A stimulating toy
I bought this pop up toy for my granddaughter's 1st birthday. She loved the sturdy box that it is packaged in and played drums with it. She loved the well made sticks with animal heads and carried them around all day refusing to put them down even to eat but was terrified when we showed her how they pop out. Her mum and dad assured me that she will love it after a few days when she gets use to it. Little ones do react in their own original way!

Sturdy, colourful, and lots of fun.
Bought for 12 month old son. Although it says for 18 months up, he really enjoys playing with it and has already worked out putting toys in the peg holes. He hasn’t quite sussed how to “pop” them yet! Very sturdy and colourful. I would definitely look at buying more from this company as my son gets a wee bit older.

Good sturdy wooden toy
This sturdy little toy was an ideal present for my one year old granddaughter - she loves it.It is well made and has lovely vibrant colours.I would recommend it and think that it was pretty good value for money for a wooden toy.I was a little disappointed that the packaging was damaged on arrival but fortunately, the toy was not damaged and as it was for a one year old, she was not in the least bit interested in the packaging - only the outer wrapping and the toy itself.

Fun little toy
Although only a little toy my son loves this and laughs away as we spring the animals out. The only thing is as it’s small my son can’t use it alone as when he tries to spring the animals it just falls over so needs an adult or older child to hold it as they spring down. It is solid wood though so sturdy in terms of breakable.

Great little toy!
I bought this toy for my 18 month old Son for Christmas. It was slightly smaller than I had expected but I think it it such a lovely little wooden toy. It is a very simple toy but well made. My son loves to see the little characters fly into the air and he tries to do it himself.
