Does the adaptor stuff but having a grad ND in makes a great product. No more hassles with ND's on the end of lens - and works on one lens where it's impossible to put anything on the end. I am deliberately NOT upgrading some lenses to RF from EF because it adds so much advantage. The build quality is the only down side... removing filters feels a bit fragile and the whole adaptor is not the solid quality of the OEM version - but it's half the cost... and none of this shows in the pictures. I don't have the Canon one to compare the quality of the ND glass but been happy with this filter quality.

When I bought my R7 after my R6, I have both RF and EF lenses and one single Canon Adapter. Needing a second adapter, I decided to try this Meike. Having reviewed Youtube reviews I felt that it is a safe bet. I used and tested this adapter with several EF lenses and I am very satisfied with its performance. I had been also looking for a solution for a very long time on how to keep dust off the sensor when changing lenses out in dusty environments like safaris in Africa and Sri Lanka and the clear filter may well be the solution just by pure coincidence. With the adapter using clear filter, changing lenses in the dusty environment won't be so risky as cleaning a filter is a lot simpler than cleaning sensors in the field.

Wonderful product, great price, makes changing filters a breeze. I use it as an adapter. Quality can't be beat!

Worked great for about 2.5 years before the autofocus stopped working. For the price not bad.

Completely stoked that the package arrived 1 full week earlier: The box it came in what simple. In it. came the mount attached with the VND drop-in filter, a neutral/UV drop-in filter and some documentation. I mounted it to my EOS RP and from what I can tell, focusing speed is the same as canon own EF-RF adapter. The VND range is great. One thing Meime can improve is that the wheel controlling the ND level is smooth and you can’t tell how much ND filtering is being applied. You can’t tell it visually either. You need to take a test shot to confirm: The color looks good. No shift at all. I wish the mount has a carrying case supplied. This beats buying 105mm VND filters to fit my Sigma 105mm HSM Art for sure.

Screws came loose after 6 months of use. Thought the whole thing was broken. Reached out to them to help but they never responded so good look getting a hold of anyone. But after I found out what it was been making sure that the screws stay tight after every gig. Carry a small screw driver set now just in case.

I'm the user for the EOS RP and R6, and my lens (I'm only have EF lens, because I do using the M6II and 5DIII) diameter cross from 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, 88mm and 105mm, from time to time I need to using the ND filter in different occasion, but it will be too costy if I buy the filter set for each diameter size I purchased Meike MK-EFTR-C VND and works perfectly for my purpose, especially for the 1/2 - 1/3 of Canon's price Love it ~~

Después de mirar mucho me decanté por este, por el precio que tiene ya me trae dos filtros, uno con el cristal claro y el otro de densidad neutra variable, en otros vi que el claro no traía cristal, pero es bueno que traiga para proteger el sensor en los cambios de objetivos sin apagar la cámara. Otra cosa que me gustó mucho es que lleva una junta tórica, no se si sea sellado contra el agua pero te da la sensación de que por lo menos el polvo lo tendrá a raya. Muy buena calidad de construcción y materiales. No le vi tintes en el vídeo. Me parece una herramienta espectacular, combinado con la R7 y el Sigma 18-35mm son una pasada. Me parece genial que traiga una especie de arandela que sirve por si esté desenfocando según leí.

Using on my eos r8 works really well. The nd and clear are good additions. Worth for the money and better alternative for the oem.

Très utile mais un crantage de la molette du niveau ND permettrait un réglage plus stable et par étapes plus précises.
