Fascinating Ideas New! Amazing Electronic Nature's Fire Undersea Volcano

I purchased two of these for my boys, five and six, who are autistic. For my kids, it has a calming effect. The first one lasted a few weeks, but then water began to pour out of the bottom. The seller replaced it immediately, which was great. The second one has been working non-stop, however I had noticed water coming out of the bottom again. This time however, I also noticed that my five year old had tilted it. It clearly needs to stand still on a flat surface. Since then however, it has not leaked again.This thing is also durable. I hit it by accident and it fell off the table. The small lid popped off and water and beads spilled everywhere, but it didn't break. Just refilled it, put the beads back in and it works perfectly.It does not run on batteries, but it has an AC cord.It's a great toy. I am especially happy because of the calming effect it has on my children. I also love that I don't have to deal with the mess of "experimenting" with volcano kits.Great buy.

It's not huge, but it's pretty cool. The lights are nice; they vary from white to blue to red and seem random. As the pellets fall, they are recirculated through the volcano at different rates, so the eruption seems to ebb and flow. Pretty neat. And the volcano produces tiny bubbles which look like smoke, visible mainly when room lights are dim.Mine worked perfectly out of the box, but I'd suggest two things: first, the instructions recommend soaking the balls for at least six hours before running the volcano. I just let it sit overnight. Second, add a drop of dishwashing detergent, as instructed. Just a tiny bit. I initially tried just using filtered water, but the pellets didn't sink well. They sank immediately when I added a drop of soap.So there you go, a cool looking and fun toy, a nice little Mount Doom for our upcoming LOTR party!

Please do not purchase the volcano lava lamp toy. We have tried this product twice now. I was so hopeful as my 10 year old little boy adored this toy, but after a week the motor died. I returned the product and purchased a new volcano from an entirely different vendor in hopes we had just received a defective unit by mistake. Unfortunately, once again, the volcano toy was very loud and I just had a feeling the motor was again about to fail. When it functioned, the red beads that shoot out of the volcano into the water are very engaging. My little guy loved watching it. Even after purchasing the volcano toy from a different vendor, the motor still died after only 3 days. My son adored this toy; unfortunately, it does not last. He used it only at night to help him ease into sleep and it stood still on his night stand; it was never shaken or played with inappropriately. We now have a light that shines blue water waves on the ceiling. That seems to work but he misses his volcano. I love the lava lamp idea; however, the volcano apparently just is not in the cards for us. So very disappointed. Please check out other products so your little ones are not disappointed as well...:(

I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas. I had read the reviews an saw this was good for kids with autisum. She can spend time just watching the volcano erupt. I have had no issues with leaking or anything else. I gave this a 5 star rating because we all enjoy it. It is pretty cool it even looks like there is smoke coming for the volcano. I would recommand to everyone.

From previous reviews I though I had make a mistake buying this item, but it's not. You need to do exactly what the instructions say, even with the detergent liquid drops to make it working. It has been great to have it on my desk, every day people at work stares looking it for what it's doing.

The Volcano arrived promptly and was well packaged. The volcano worked right out of the box after adding water and the plastic balls. It has been working now for several weeks and I am very happy. My previous volcano motor gave out but maybe it was due to lack of use.

Do not purchase this item. You can do everything as directed, use it lightly, and the motor will still stop after a VERY short time. Do not waste your money.

Never worked, out of the box defected. Won't even come on.
