Thank you for the question. The included DRL cable uses power from the Cigar Lighter Fuse (F52) per the instructions. This is not associated with the OEM DRL Circuit and it does not need to be in operation in order to use the ORACLE DRL.

Q: For jeeps without daytime running lights, is there a way to still turn the halos on? i'll have to verify but i don't think my 2023 wrangler has drl's

You will have to install a relay and/or use a programmer to tell the Halos when and where to turn on.
