I purchased the purple harness for my 7.5 lb. Japanese Chin and Mini Poodle mix. Most say Poochin but I like Chinoodle better. Anyway the fit was fantastic and it only took three times of removing the harness for her to adjust to hearing the Velcro sound. I pull the Velcro slowly and then she will back out of it. This harness goes over the head and then place the legs and adjust Velcro on top for a great fit. I trained my dog to go into harness by using treats and letting her get used to the over the head part. Legs were easy. I used verbal praise after getting it on her and the same praise to remove it. My dog is not uncomfortable or fighting to remove it like she has on other harnesses. I have checked her for rubbed areas and I felt of every part that came in contact with her. I found the harness to be pet friendly and haven’t had any issues with use. She only has the harness on when we leave the house. I put a collar with ID at home just in case she gets away for an adventure of her own making. She is chipped but the collar tag makes faster recovery I assume. I am very pleased with my purchase and I recommend it to anyone. Just be sure you follow the size chart guides or you may need to exchange for another. I used a measuring tape from a mending kit and followed the guidelines for the best fit.

Perfect fix after grandpup had a cut, her previous harness was sliding off. Reflector on vest good and picked up with car lights. Mesh allows air to travel and help with cooling. Like the double hook for leash but wish he hook was a bit larger. Overall no good product.

The problem is that our dog is too small for a small and too large for a small. Size small fit perfectly for my 7.5 lb Chiweenie. Our dog pulls hard at times and some collars and harnesses cause him to choke, this harness doesn’t. Other harnesses have huge buckles that rub on the front legs. The things I like are the easy to put on and off features. The functionality of the harness this makes it a great experience for both dog and owner. Large opening for the front legs to move without rubbing. I would have given it a full five stars if the fabric was a little more soft and flexible for a small size dog. The wife and I like the reflective design in both the harness and the leash. For the money it’s a great little set that is durable and looks well made. We have purchased five harnesses from 3 different sources and have found this one to be the best so far. Thank you Amazon.

Love this harness. Has night reflection on both harness and leash. This is my 3rd one. Our Frenchie is growing fast. He's 4 months. old. These do run small. Started with an XS than med and this one is an XL and should be good up to adulthood. If you want to save some money on a French Bulldog puppy go straight to the medium. :)

Very cute but the Velcro is annoying and my dogs hair gets stuck in it sometimes. It’s a soft harness and it works very well. It is also a challenge to try to get a rambunctious puppy to put both legs into the harness (working on fixing that)

Was absolutely worth the price for a small puppy....mesh and clasps seem strong enough. We will see when she goes on her first outside walk. :-)
