Does the rocker switch have a weatherproof cover to keep water out?

There is a rubber housing around the switch that sits flush with whatever you put the switch into aka your dash or something like that. If it was to get wet you will be fine, also the whole system is water proof and has held up through many rain and snow storms in the past few months.

Looking at the wire and the small amp draw of led lights 14 to 18 gauge will work .I would waterproof heat shrink connectors.
