Clemons Van Forer's Freedom Hardcover – December 1, 2021

I lreally like this book and the fact it was written by an 8 year old 3rd grader is awesome.

This story was beautifully told and illustrated!

I loved the innocence combined with history. Though this book is written by an eight-year-old, it speaks to all ages. The language is easy for children to understand. The story gives all readers a glimpse into what was reality for POC during this era.And look for the part of the book about “water” - it’s so touching.I highly recommend this book.
