Lodge Round Glass Lid, Tempered Glass with Silicone Knob, 10.25 Inches

This 8 inch Lodge Round Tempered Glass Lid PERFECTLY fits my 1940s-1950s REVERE WARE egg pan that my mom got as a wedding present just after WWII. I love it. NO VENT to deal with to leak out moisture and flavor. If you want to see through it, just spin the lid on the pan and all the tasty juices spin off the glass lid and drip down the side of the egg pan back into the food - where they belong instead of leaking out the lid. Plus this lid is half the price of a good used Revere Ware lid. I am about to buy 2 more, one each for my bigger Revere Ware fry pans. Thank you, Lodge, for helping us continue to cook on the old style NON-TOXIC stainless steel pans, in addition to your own cast iron beauties.

First we bought the 15" Lodge cast iron pan to fry bacon so we could do a lot at one time without crowding. Makes the best bacon. It is just what I needed

I got a Lodge skillet set from my favorite big box brick and mortar. A 12" and 14". Realized after a few uses that lids were a must. Google AI said this model lid is what went with my big skillet, by this product description, product photos, and reviews gave me no confidence it would work. But, hey, returns are easy, right? What you should know is that Lodge has formed the chrome rim of the lid into two "steps"--a 14" and 15" ring. Great fit for my skillet. Made applesauce the first night. Much better steaming function than the baking sheet I set on top with previous applesauce batch. I was also prepared to be disappointed given the lid doesn't have the steam hole you get on most glass lids nowadays. But the pour lip of the skillet served the vent function just fine. I will note that some glass lids perfect the geometry such that steam doesn't fog the glass and you can see your food with the lid on. This lid is NOT well designed enough for that. Paid more than I thought fair (more than 50% of what the skillet itself cost), but this is a lifetime product, so small potatoes.

I'm giving this four stars because it is the second one I've had to purchase. The first one, the screw I guess was stripped and therefore the handle came off. We tried gorilla glue but nothing would hold it in place. It fits the large cast iron by lodge and I use this daily almost. I have used on the smaller lodge pans when necessary but obviously not a tight seal as with the large skillet. if this one "breaks" like the other, I guess I'll just have to keep replacing. Note: it is rust resistant, easy to use and clean, good value, not lightweight.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I cook almost exclusively in cast iron. Even soups and stews are in a cast dutch oven. I recently pulled grandma's 15" fryer out of the back of the cabinet. I was honestly tired of cooking in batches to feed 3 teens. Took me seconds to realize I had a problem. I didnt have a lid. I tried the lid from my canning kettle. I even tried using the pizza peel. Nothing I have on hand was gonna cut it long term. I hoped that since this was Lodge I'd be lucky and it would fit. Its like it was made for this fryer. (Duh, I know) I have to tip it to reduce fluids because it fits that well. The handle is some kind of silicone or rubber. Its kinda squeezable and doesnt get hot. Love that. No vent hole. Im very used to sacrificing a pot holder to block vent holes that it wouldn't have mattered if it had one but im happy it doesnt. The lip slips down inside the pan so im not gonna knock it off and break it that way. Beyond happy. So grateful it was affordable. The only negative is that it just made one of my heaviest pans usable.

Within 40days the knob screw and thread worn out..... The quality is bad if the item can get damage within 40day of purchase.....

Fits my small Lodge fry-pan perfectly. It’s a good product.

Fits the pan great. People said it is "loose" but it is supposed to be - for expansion when pan heats up. No steam escapes as the metal ring has a drip edge that catches steam, which runs back into pan. It works great- seems expensive but is worth it.
