It is very loud and obnoxious just like you'd expect and want in this type of product. It will deter people or animals easily from bothering you. It's a great price and we would recommend it !

This is a great product. I thought 130dB would be louder (and I do have good hearing), so I question the accuracy of marketing (without testing it with a dB meter). However, it can be used for a ton of things with the right DIY skills --doors, cabinets, etc.

Easy to use and Loud

IT's beeping by itself I've owned it for about 2 months. The alarm volume is also a couple octaves lower than should be. Point is I received one with very low battery life. I purchased this previously directly from Byrna and was Great this one I received was old and therefore only good 2 months.

Great alarm system and will likely scare away any would-be trouble maker. I use mine for travel. Works great and easy to use. Highly recommend

Just got this for my son’s keys. This is not rechargeable like the birdie (which is only $10 more) and it’s extremely sensitive, too sensitive if you ask me. It is extremely loud and that’s great but it goes off too easily setting it off accidentally, which could be a problem.
