Q: what are the dimensions of the radio

9 3/4" wide, 6" tall (with the handle folded down) and 4" deep. Good question! I wondered the same thing before ordering one. Amazon does not give dimensions. Small enough to put almost anywhere, but surprising rich and full sound.

Q: Is there a way to keep the clock display always on?

I can't find a way. That is the bad thing. You can only see the time if you press it on. Ridiculous feature!

If you keep batteries in the radio, it will maintain your settings. As long as it's plugged in you aren't draining the batteries...you're just of storing them in there.
