It is really easy to use than any grip products.

I decided to try this product to see if it would help with opening jars. It's unbelievable how well this little thing works!!! I have had jars that I've been unable to open even when using a rubber gripper. If I use this I am able to open it on my own. I'm sure there's some sort of physics behind it or the fact that my grip isn't strong enough but this thing is a little miracle. I love it so much I purchased one for my 75-year-old mother And she also finds it easy to use.It's sturdy and very comfortable to use. I've had it for a few months and have had no issues so seems to be well made.

This works well for most lids and is easier to use than another style that I had, but last night I found that it didn't work on a small lid with a curve to the top: it just didn't reach down far enough, so it just spun around. It also will not accommodate larger lids, like those on the bulk candy containers. In between though, it works like a charm

I have bought, over the years, several jar opener gadgets, but most of them were a total waste of money - because they really didn't work - or did work only after much concerted effort, but were certainly not easy and quick.This one is. In fact, it's about as easy and quick a jar opener as you could ever wish to find.It's a slap in the face to one's masculine pride to be defeated by a jar you simply cannot open, just by conjuring up all your strength, and getting all red in the face, and raising your blood pressure to dangerous levels, just to try to get the lid off of a new jar of pickles!Of course, you can revert to the strap wrench - which will always get any jar open - but that is an admission of defeat, and the primary reason that we bring ourselves to the brink of blowing our top in an effort to open a stinkin' jar!The ease and simplicity of this little gizmo is such that all we have to do is turn it clockwise, to open the jaws to the widest point, and then turn it back counter-clockwise, until the grips engage the lid, and then keep turning to the left until the seal pops - which is instantly - and voila' - we have succeeded!Tonight, I had occasion to actually use it, just as it was intended to be used, to open a new jar of salsa. I started to turn it with my hands, and ran into resistance, and began to crank up the pressure, when I remembered my new little gizmo, and knew that this was the perfect chance to actually put it to the test.In a totally anti-climactic ending - it did do precisely what it's supposed to do: It popped that lid right off, almost instantly, and I'll swear my blood pressure didn't rise even a half a point!But it earned its keep, and made me look like a genius, for realizing - before I had ever actually used it - that it was a winner.And it is!

Generally speaking this product works as it should, it helps open jars. However, I've found that on some jars the lid is too large and the grips don't reach fully. It can be a bit frustrating trying to get it to fit on some jars, but overall it works and is helpful.

I watched a couple of videos where content-creators compared and demo-ed a bunch of different types of jar/lid openers. Both agreed this was an excellent choice. And I now agree.Simple to use. Twist open one way until the grips open wide enough. Then twist back the other way to tighten the grips onto the lid. Then twist in the same direction just a bit more after that … and the lid comes right off. It has worked very very easily with my pickle jars, so that says a lot. So long as the lid isn't larger than this gizmo can handle, this is going to be an excellent choice. I saw another reviewer say they remember this type of gizmo being around when they were a kid, so that's just more evidence it works well, that it has stood the test of time, so to speak. I would have preferred to have some handle choices: color of plastic, wood, whatever, but that's certainly not a deal-breaker.Btw, the plastic ones that look like a vise or a nutcracker with four different sized holes in them, they LOOK like they would be good, but those did poorly in the videos: (1) There's a lot of lid sizes that won't match up to them – lid too big, lid too small, or a size that doesn't match up well with any hole – and (2) squeeze & torque 'em too much and they snap in two.

This jar opener device has been a lifesaver. It works really well - you do need to hold the 'ears (the pieces that move in and out when you turn the handle) tightly against the bottle cap, otherwise they might slip. We have tossed the manual jar opener for seniors that we had bought on Amazon (Premium Quality Jar Opener Get Lids Off Easily Jar Openers for Seniors Multiple Size Grip) as well as the RoboTwist battery powered jar opener (which never worked well ). This device really does the trick for us.

compre el articulo pk estaba fastidiado de abrir tapas nuevas, la primera vez que use, nada mas encaje la tapa y dando vuelta con presion, se movio facil, no es apto con tapas ya usadas ya que no hay presion de fabrica.

Aient fort mal aux mains avec cet appareil je peux très facilement ouvrir tous mes bocaux. Parfait.
